John Vogel on The Athletic wrote an article several weeks ago in which he presented dat to show ZG is among the worst at the penalty kill.
That data must have been missing when Adams jumped at the opportunity to overpay him by 40% and double down by doing so for 3 years.

3 ECHL teams are officially dropping today...

Cincinnati (which we already knew), Idaho and Kalamazoo

Two more might be as well...(Fort Wayne and Toledo)

Man this sucks

5th best goal scorer on the team.

Loyal. Hard working. Bad balance. Kinda strange looking.

He’s a Sabre through and through

But those leagues are starting to pause over in Europe to, this is a crucial time for the Sabres, they need some of these prospects to take the next step, not that the all don't matter. But the next 2 to 3 yrs we have probably 10 to 12 prospects hitting the system that could be NHL players at some level or tade chips.

Sure, but Ruotsalainen has been developing just fine in Finland
So idk that guys need to be here in the AHL to keep improving

Fort Wayne will probably do it but they haven't announced anything yet. its like the only thing to do so they could probably raise the price of tickets $5 to make up the difference they need to break even and still get sell outs. they typically average around 10k in attendance. Even back when they created their own 6 team league that probably half the beer league teams in Buffalo could have competed in they had high attendance. When i first moved here i was told i need to go watch them and when i did i realized no one knows what real hockey is in this town..

There's no right or wrong answer here but do you think players coming from Europe need time to adjust to the North American game and rink size?

Higher draft picks usually adjust quickly, but what about those mid rounder guys?

Yes he has, and have no problem with them continuing that development, there playing, well not right know, those leagues are starting to pause too, that's the problem.

I honestly thought that all out blitz attempt and leaving Ruggs 1on1 for the game losing touchdown was a tank move.

Ideally it would be of benefit to have him get used to the NA game and ice size in a shortened season, then the following season when a good portion if the roster needs to be replaced, he could swing right in.

To me, not that there all not important, but the next 2 to 3trs are critical to the Sabres, finally seeing a influx of prospects, the Sabres have a chance to build a nice foundation. In the next few years we could see 10 to 12 prospects as long as they keep growing hitting the system that could be NHL players or trade chips. It will help immensely, something we haven't had in 6yrs. Won't have to trade for players to fill roster spots cause you have the prospects to do it. Help with the Cap, then you can use FA and trades the way they should be, to get that player ROR for the Blues to finish your roster.

2 of Johnson/Samuelsson/Bryson/Laaksonen panning out will mean more money to spend up front.

Could help in retaining Hall if everything goes well.

Where did you see this? Everything I’ve read said a new season was coming

They are definitely going to have a season 4.

Netflix usually goes year by year with shows based on how they perform.

If Cozens does not pan out at this point the Hockey God’s have one out for Buffalo.

Everything the kid has done from both the eye test and analytically speaking shows a player that not only will be an NHL player, but an impact core forward.

He is going to be a stud because he has the drive and the will to do so, coupled with obvious skills and physical gifts.

While it is only seasonal, the demand for Xmas lights has to be one of the financial boons for those who make them in history. Every damn year I swear I throw out more strings than I use from a box of them that is 2'x2'x3' . Unfriggin real ... maks a poop product and people just keep buying more.
