Imagine if the Leafs were stupid enough to do the trades some have suggested in EK's blog. |

I can’t gain weight to save my life. People kept saying I’ll gain in my late 20’s. Then they said I’ll gain once I turn 30. I’ve been 6 foot 160 since I was 17.
My job is very active but I also have weird ass genes. |

I'm missing ball hockey, which was about the best exercise I would get.
Cycling is a close second, but it's something I can do in terms of training on my own for when competitions open up again so it's my one lifeline - TheMussel
Same dude. I miss ball hockey bad. Last time I played though, I (frank)ed my shoulder bad. So even if Covid wasn't (frank)ing us, I wouldn't be able to play. |

I stopped playing 2 years ago.
I don't really miss the hockey.
I miss the male bonding. Nope, not kidding. That dressing room banter was really good for my mental health. - Atomic Wedgie
Absolutely agree. Impossible to walk into the dressing room or onto the diamond and not have a smile on your face. I love hockey and ball, and have been playing for a long, long time, but it may actually be over for a bunch of us. Without the group, there’s a void that’s impossible to replace. Seven of these guys also made up our annual fall fishing trip for over 30 years that we didn’t go on this year. It was a release you could easily take for granted. |

That’s what I love about golf. Get together with your buddies twice a week, have a couple beers and walk the course. Even if I play terrible it’s my outlet and gets me in a good mood.[/img] |

No hockey for me last spring or summer, no ball all summer, and no hockey again. Hard to get my head wrapped around it. With the boys multiple time’s a week for 33 years, down to a couple emails a month. Some of the guys are telling me they are done... not coming back. Poopty trying to get some motivation going. “It’s good for my health”, isn’t cutting it...lol. - Woderwick
I've contemplated being done with it, there seems to be a lot of people thinking the same thing.
Its sad because its a good way to bring a group of friends together. |

I've turned into a baseball guy.
Cheap as (frank) and you get the best social aspect out of it.
Hockey is pure exercise for me, just not sure if its worth 500$ a season anymore plus all the sharpenings. |

Ya I grew up playing golf, and all of my buddies have too. We’re hooked, but it’s bloody expensive.
The other issue is if you want to play 18 it takes up atleast 5 hours of your day (with travel) and the wives hate it. So it’s my favourite time and my wife’s worst time. She hates golf season. |

I miss ball hockey for sure.
But with my back and being a goalie, I had to take some time off. |

Still had a modified softball season this past summer.
so glad we were able to, I totally needed it.
Missed playing sports....missed hanging out for a beer.
It was great even if it was only 6 weeks, once a week.

Dubas calling out leadership AGAIN...
And we know he’s not talking about Matthews cause he’s a beast. And he went to great lengths to defend Marner at the end of season presser..
So I wonder who he’s talking about 🤔
Btw.. I’m really starting to like Dubas. He’s shown that he open to change, and he admits he made mistakes.
And you know EXACTLY what I mean.

He’s said from end of season, his leaders have to play better. He hasn’t said he’s about to trade them

He doesn’t want to call out individual players so he groups them all together.
But we know who he’s implying. The guy who won’t engage in battles, block shots, backcheck.. |
