Can't believe Tom Petty and Prince died. (frank) designer opiates. What was wrong with good old fashioned smack? - Zezel
Tom Petty isn’t dead, he’s a five month old very ferocious kitten lying here with me and you don’t know how he feels. Willie Nelson is at the foot of the bed whining because he feels left out. |

They had a couple of okay songs. But it's like if Hendrix said his next album is gonna be influenced by the Eagles. - Zezel
The Eagles are pretty poop.
Don't think REM is quite so far removed from Nirvana as you might think though. Hell, I think a Cobain + Stipe collaboration would have been pretty rad. |

According to Gary, it’s not new engine fluid, it’s a wine cooler.

The players need to understand that the NHL is not even in the same stratosphere as other major sports. A lot of revenue is gate driven - a lot of teams are going to be "stressed" (as Gary puts it) even attempting to have a season.
Pandemic times call for pandemic measures. I'm feeling some contractions just thinking about no 20/21 season. |

I'm sure some computer modeling, AI, and deep fake / holograms could figure this poop out. |

But if i had to choo choo choose.
Kane. - Fakepartofme
I lean Kane as well.
He at least knows what it feels like to get hit in the face.
Paul hasn’t fought anyone who has experience. Kane was on TMZ this morning calling him out some more, he serious about the match. |

Why is it just on the players?
Well the CBA doesn’t allow a lockout. They’d have to argue that unforeseen circumstances between when they negotiated extension and now. Law (who has name law) saws it will come down to arguing details.
But I agree overall the problem is that the league comes down to lowest common denominator of weakest franchise. I don’t necessarily like the idea of contraction but stumbling along like this is tiresome. |

Kurt Cobain's suicide rocked me at the time. But then I read that the next album was going to be heavily influenced by his love of REM, so it's probably for the best. - Zezel

John Lennon because I had seen him in a store in NY almost exactly a year before (my ex literally ran into him) and I could see the building where he lived across the park from my in-laws. He decided he was going to live his life in the city and it cost him.
The Beatles were the first group that I ever noticed and he was the (frank) you guy from the start. I was going to school I’m Washington and got up to NY for Christmas about a week after. It was almost physical. |

Good idea. Holl could use some more ice time and this would move Marincin up the chart. (Is that worse than dead musicians?) |

So your in-laws lived on the Upper East Side?
My in-laws had a place in Cranberry Village, and I thought that was amazing. |

5th and 98th. They were uhm, special. Pretty much across the park from the Dakotas where John and Yoko lived. It was a very cool looking building.

Not that it really matters because he isn’t in the conversation but lucic would probably destroy Paul. I guess lucic boxes every summer and just looks like a tough SOB.
I don’t really see Kane fighting a lot, it seems like he runs away from Reaves a lot. |
