The good news is that over the longer term they’re (frank)ed. The country is becoming more urban/suburban and less white and the more stuck they’vebecome in a Trump mold, the more irrelevant they’re going to be. It’s just going to be a very messy, very ugly process getting there.

Biden needs to make sure he does start to pivot to the progressives because that’s the only place he’s going to find any meaningful solutions. In the meantime, Trump and McConnell are doing everything they can to sabotage the economy before he takes power.
