Had the ref not allowed Jones to hold Tyson's arms for much of the bout, he might have kissed the canvas. Tyson looked to be in very good form for his age. I've never seen Tyson even remotely as gracious and kind after a fight. - winsix

Not so sure about that. He gave up booze to train for this fight and started smoking weed. The biggest sponsor of last night was a weed app. company. - winsix
I didn’t watch fights and this one sounds like a joke celebrity thing but I pay listen to Steven Brunt who knows the business. There are some serious boxers out there now.

I think it's important to remember that Trump continues to insist that this election should be overturned and he should remain President. This is a sitting American President who wants to subvert the Constitution, the will of the people, and dictate that he should remain in power. The only reason he hasn't done that is that people didn't let him. But make no mistake, he is a fascist.

I'm not convinced he's smart enough to be a fascist. I think he is a common thief and con artist and a loudmouth that has done nothing with the significant advantage granted him at birth. He is desperately trying to avoid being taken out of power to avoid criminal and civil cases that are mounting against him. The easiest way to take him down would be for Jack Dorsey to do something positive for the USA and shut down his account on the basis that it is being used to spread hate.

Characteristics of fascism:
Powerful nationalism
Disdain for human rights
Identification of enemies/scapegoats
Sexism
Control of media
Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Cronyism
Religion and government are intertwined
Fraudulent elections
There’s a difference between running a full fledged fascist government and fascist tendencies. Trump is what fascist curious, or hasn’t gone under the knife yet, I’m not sure. But ignoring what’s going on is silly.
I won’t mention any names but do we know that the Austrian painter was smart?

The key isn't Trump - it's complicity. Can't allow unspeakable injustices without lifting a finger. There are different levels of complicity as well. The Swiss Banks hiding under a veil of being a "Neutral Party" Gained several trillions of dollars of wealth after WW2. If you ever watched the monuments men it is not an exaggeration, rather it seriously understates the wealth stolen by aggressors and by those complicit.

It’s a bunch of things - it’s what the Koch’s and others started to seed a while ago through the Tea Party and all the racial, social, economic bullpoop rampant in the country, it’s the complicity as you say, it’s Murdoch and Facebook but it’s also Trump himself who both is both a symptom of it and an accelerant.
I’m waiting to see breakdowns of the vote but Trump and Trumpism aren’t going away. One interesting factoid - Trump isn’t the man of the oppressed. Biden got more votes from people under $100K and under $50K incomes

Where the votes came from isn't as relevant as that they should count.

On a positive note have you heard about the efforts of Sean Penn and his CORE foundation - offering free testing to low income folks? Pretty cool stuff.

Yeah.. cool stuff when the poor have to rely on the good graces of the ultra-rich to survive (rarely happens) opposed to state funded programs. Also very cool stuff that these programs continuously receive funding cuts so the ultra-rich can receive their tax cuts.
