I believe there are more people out there with integrity than without. Cheating comes out over time and it seems to continually come out of the Belicheck camp. If you believe everyone cheats than that's pretty negative, jaded and pessimistic can't live my life through that lens, just call me naive then

That wasn't really my point. Ok, yes I used hyperbole, but the point stands there are a ton of people who bend the rules. Only a few get caught. Belichick's Pats have won 6 rings and been in three other SB's. Since 2000 his teams have won the division all but three times. He's lost tons of high level coaches and players over those years.

Sure, he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and I've heard personal accounts from an acquaintance who briefly played for him that paints BB in a not-so-favorable light. To state that all, or even most, of that success is due to Brady is silly.

And really to say everyone cheats isn't fair to all those that don't. Oh yea another team that comes to mind who cheated, Houston Astros

But you'll never be Toronto if you don't sign players to market value they'll just keep leaving then what'll happen just to get a free agent to sign with you, cough cough Campbell, you'll have to over pay them. Our franchise just went through this, sheesh

They overpaid RFAs which is not necessary to do.

Let me ask you, do you think it was smart to sign Matthews and Marner for $11 million each and Nylander to $7+ million as RFAs? And do you think because they did this, they are more likely to win a cup (or maybe they should start with a playoff series)?
