I hit it really straight on so the impact wasn't that bad. My friend even took his seetbelt off to grab CDs on the backseat at the moment and didn't get injured. If it happenned in Canada they proably would have salvaged it but towing costs ect was probably more economic for them to wreck it and sell parts ect.
