most bars do more business between 10pm and 2 am then they do from opening until 10 though - homiedclown
Especially in Buffalo. It's a ghost town til 11 at least. I feel for everyone in that industry. I recently went into Pearl Street Grill for a gift card at noon on a Friday. I had a moment seeing all the empty stools where I realized how (frank)ed up everything is. Usually there would be a full bar and people having lunch. It sucks.
Did just fine with the pressure in ARZ knowing that if he gave up 2 goals they’d likely lose - jdfitz77
The fact remains he wouldn’t come cheap and if you take a careful look you will see the cupboard is close to empty. Giving up picks or prospects now would be Adams first huge mistake.
They don’t want money back, it’s that simple. If Ullmark wasn’t the goalie they think he can be signing him for that money made no sense. Hutton will bounce back and it wouldn’t surprise me if he took over the reigns at some point during the season.
But, but, but, That’s what makes it so much fun - Ratsreign
Living in elmwood village I saw plenty of high-heeled women leaving jim's at 5 am while I was on the way to work. I never closed down a bar at 4. One of my only regrets from living in the city. Now I'm in the 'burbs
Indeed, I haven’t gone into a bar since March. - Ratsreign
i haven't gone to a club-like atmosphere during that time, but bars with patios were just fine...also got to see some live music as some cover bands were playing outside with plenty of social distancing and people dancing with masks on...weird, but it was great to be outdoors in the summer listening to live music with people having a good time
I envision a Youtube video of the clock striking 10, and then the little Covid virus ball sneaks out from hiding to the tune of the Pink Panther theme. - buffalofan19

I lied, I did go to a back patio bar out on the beach one Saturday. They usually have a band there, but that was shut down because they had the tables spread apart for distancing, and there was no room for the band. Been out for dinner and a couple of drinks, but not much else.

I have gotten so used to sitting on my back patio, it's nice the Bill's are good, they have helped break up the weeks.

I closed down Brick Bar once and Bullfeathers twice. I've never been much for downtown drinking, but when I do, there's some real (frank)in characters at 2+ AM
The more opportunities a team has to put a hit on the QB, the more susceptible he may be to injury ?
There is no perfect correlation in anything.
I’m sure Joe Mixon being healthy would have taken some of the stress off of Burrow to throw as many times as he did on Sunday and may have avoided an injury - Pegullaville
And when a QB is going back to pass with little or no threat to run the Dline and pass rushers and can just lick their chops and rush the passer with no fear of a run threat.
Also, people comparing Tom Brady and Josh Allen in terms of how they pass forget that Brady got rid of the ball very quick 1-2-3 pass. so the threat to him was a lot less.
People arguing against a run game are arguing based on entertainment value and not practically and how you win. Not to mention Buffalo isn't in the sunbelt rainy, snowy, windy, very cold days need a run game. Drops obvious mic

Remember closing down No Names a few times, it was so different years ago, you could find a bar every night in Buffalo that had a drink special. There was a Place over by the Stadium called the Southtowner, you could always find a good party there.
