Seattle has the third worst pass D in HISTORY and was missing a starting CB, and DE, and their starting RB Chris Carson was out so I think there should be an asterisk next to that win in terms of top wins. It looks good on paper until you look at the details. - GilPerreault11
He had the most passing yards of any QB in the league this year in the first half.
There’s 0 asterisk, it was a phenomenal performance |

There is reason he had the most passing yards of any QB in the league because Seattle's pass D was bad already and had injuries in it to boot, not to mention another DB got hurt during that game so an already special Olympics pass D was playing with one arm tied behind its back.

Yet Kyler Murray faced the same defense a week later and threw for just 269 and only 21 points, and Wentz just put up 215 and an interception
So maybe they aren’t actually the worst pass defense ever |

Last 4 Seattle games

Bills 44
Cardinals 21
Rams 23

Yeah I think the Bills were just great that day |

They just got Dunlap that week who didn't know the playbook yet. They have started to put some pressure on the QB, the injuries they had against the Bills have come back, they have a running game to kill clock which they didn't against the Bills and rely all on Wilson since Carson is back.

We both know how this works: the good Allen games are fun and all, but the mediocre Allen games are the Real Allen™️
Nevermind that he actually won the Cardinals game for the Bills too, btw |

Doesn't it feel great to be in that position?
I think the Bills and Chiefs will square off in multiple AFC championships in the next 5 - 7 years.
We are going to multiple Super Bowls and this time around we are going to win at least one but probably 2 or 3! |

It’s funny because no one goes through every other QB’s games to find their asterisks.
Seattle has only played 11 games. So those games count for no one because the D is bad |

My argument isn't really Allen but is beating a team with the third worst pass D in the history of the NFL up until that point and still and played with injuries on that bad pass D and without their starting running back a top win? I think LA Rams is a better win due to the roster they had on that day. |

I thought Allen was fantastic that day.
I also think Gil has a point in saying that the Seahawks were short handed.
Both sides are right. |

For perspective:
Through 11 games last year, Bills opponents had a combined record of 31-79, counting the Miami Dolphins once, even though the two teams had played twice by that point. This season, their opponents have a combined record of 60-50, counting the New York Jets once.

Last year all the excuses were about the weak schedule, but this year that is gone. Theyre playing good teams and they're winning.
Allen has what, five 300 yard games in 11 games after having none in his first 2 years. The guy has NEVER thrown a redzone interception in his career which is frankly unbelievable.
The defense is starting to hit its stride. John Brown will be back for the playoffs. The RBs are heating up. This team is good, scary good |

Good/Great QB’s have around 4-5 elite level games a year, 2-3 off ones, and 8-9 average ones (200-250 yards 1-3 TD’s)
The exception is Mahomes and maybe Rodgers, Wilson. The elite of the elites
Other than that Allen is pacing for around just that. He’s at 4 super great games, a few bad ones, and some average ones against AZ, NYJ,.
Vegas game id say was close to being great |

It's scary to think how good the Bills are going to be following another 2 or 3 McBeane drafts.

By the time his career is over the discussion might revolve around him being one of the best athletes ever regardless of sport. |

If they win another SB within the next 2 years he will be one of the most, if not most personally and team accomplished players under the age of 30 ever |

Does it take 11 games of a year and not all of them great games an elite QB? Low bar. |

AJ Klein has had a few really good games, even AFC Defensive Player of the week, is he on his way to elitism? |

Bold prediction time: If the Bills don't play the Chiefs in the playoffs I'll say they win the Superbowl. Thats the only team I dont think they can beat - jcragcrumple
Bolder prediction : Epic collapse and we don't even make the playoffs.
Boom.

He was also straight up dogpoop in his previous games
The same cannot be said for Allen
Allen wasn't great but he wasn't dogpoop either |
