The disclaimers were in the original part of the conversation

But you of course jumped in halfway.

So how has Davis been in his 6 games with only
ZERO or ONE catch?

He’s been good at times
He’s been basically non-existent at times

Averaging 2 catches per game isn’t very good
Even his most productive game, 81yds, is NOT
“very good”

For a rookie wr4, who’s spent significant time at wr3, he’s looked “good” AT TIMES
That’s it though
He does look like he could develop into a consistently good wr2
But he hasn’t been that YET

Umm no. He’s been good not very good or great

Jefferson on the Vikings is “very good”

EXACTLY 👏👏👏

Idk why some need to overrate the guy after a handful of productive games???

With the divisions it rotates. So the 2 NFC South teams you hosted at home 4 years ago, you play in their stadium this year, and vice versa. The same goes with the AFC South teams 3 years ago. The other two opponents are based on where you finished last year. So, the Bills will play the division winners of the AFC North (Pittsburgh) and West (Kansas City), assuming nothing crazy happens before the year is over. I believe there's a rotation of some sort in that, but it's a little more fluid since you already rotate the divisions you face in a given season. In 2022, the Bills will every AFC North team, and every NFC South team, and then the two teams from the AFC South and West that finished in the same spot in their division as the Bills did.

So how do we play PIT at home next year,
when we also play them at home this year?

For a 4th round rookie. He’s looked very good.

For a 1st round rookie, Jefferson has looked really good.

For a 2nd round rookie, Epenesa has looked bad.

Not sure why this is hard to comprehend. It’s relative. Which was the conversation.

But it’s cool, you’ll find yourself rooting against Davis because you can’t let little things go.

1- you keep bringing it up as well
2- if what u got outta that was I’m rooting against Davis, then you’re just dumb

Davis has looked “good at times”
Never “very very good” no matter what arbitrary stipulations u try & apply

And it’s funny how u keep avoiding that he’s had over half his games with 0 or 1 catch

He’s showing good potential
There’s no reason for you to overdo it

Ok. I give up. You win. You’re right

So, to simplify
NBC has the US TV contract for the NHL, including the Playoffs
NBC has the US TV contract for the Olympics starting July 20sh
If the NHL Playoffs extend further than 7/20sh, there is a broadcast conflict
NBC would not want to lose value by having viewership of either broadcast lost to the other...makes complete sense.
Hence, NHL Playoffs need to be completed by the time the Olympics start.
If the Olympics are cancelled, then that changes it...maybe too late though by the time they make that decision.

Also, Bettman and Daly have stated publically that they want the 021 season to start relatively on time and have a somewhat normal offseason timeframe as much as possible. The thought the league was moving to a later start permanently was a bunch of speculation.

- IonSabres

It's no contest. NBC pays, and makes, a poopload of money for the Olympics. People would be righteously pissed if hockey was airing instead of swimming or track or gymnastics.

IMO Grosjean is damn lucky to be alive. He'd have lost his head without the halo.

I can see arguments both ways

Miller was great for only a few years
But he’s been good for quite a long time now

IMO I completely agree. I was just talking with someone about that today. I almost jumped off the couch when I saw it live. IMO Without that halo he’s dead. IMO How he walked away from that is a technological miracle. IMO

It's time for a new mural. New colors, new number. The Gionta signed USA jersey is kind of sad next to it though. This giant Eichel mural next to this framed jersey.

I watched the race on replay on F1TV, I managed to go the whole day without spoilers, I thought for sure he was dead. The audio cut out right when Croft and Brundle started talking about whether he got out or not, and I was unable to watch his onboard either, it was just a blank screen with an side-on image of the car.

I can't even imagine being stuck in an inferno like that for ~25 seconds, then having to hop a chest high barrier just to get away from the flames. How he escaped with nothing but burned hands and feet is miraculous. There was chatter about possible broken ribs, but apparently not. Crazy poop.

Yeah that barrier he jumped over to get out of the flames was the same one the front half of his car with him inside just broke and went right through. He jumped back onto the track over it. I was watching it live, it was crazy.

when we also play them at home this year?

- jdfitz77

Not sure. Bills website has them playing AFC North equal seed at home, but AFC West on the road. There's some sort of pattern there. Just not sure what it is. They will also be at Tennessee for the 3rd year in a row.
