Everyone wants to trade a 1st plus for a goalie but when we did that for lehner we are still hearing how that was dumb |

I mean no disrespect to my Dev's former captain, but Greene is not capable of playing north of 12 minutes a night. These talks of pairing him with Risto? No chance. The guy is still a great leader, smart player, and can block shots on the PK. But realistically, he's your 7th D, no more than 12 minutes TOI. - bikeguy99

yes, indeed there is some desperation involved...but, would you trade a former 1st rounder in mitts plus, say johansson, for two years of a goalie who's had a strong two seasons playing for a middling coyotes team that was only able to make the play-in/playoffs as an 11 seed? |

I really can’t believe they would trade Kuemper for anything but a combo of very high draft picks and top prospects. They are the ones dealing from a position of power. If he is available some team will pay high. I personally don’t think he’s a sure thing with the added pressure of saviour on his mind. |

i'm not sure "savior" is the right word for him...it's not like he's hasek on a team devoid of scoring...if anyone is the "savior" for the Sabres it's jack echl, and if anything he's fully invested himself in his alpha-male role...
as for the high draft picks and top prospects...you could be right but a.) rumor has it that they're looking to cut salary and they have two $4M+AAV goalies on the team b.) who's willing or can even take on a $4.5M goalie...
i'd hazard to guess that there are two extremes working here and that the answer lies somewhere along the middle ground, probably only leaning in one direction but giving that side "the win" |

Apparently Kuemper is more valuable than what I thought when I first proposed a trade.
Would Hutton ($.5M retained), Mittelstadt, and a 2nd be fair value for Kuemper? |

Unless something changed, trade would have already happened. Mitt's has fallen. |

I have a 18 pound turkey thawing. I will make a homemade blueberry pie, and buy an apple pie from Schutts Apple Farm a few miles from my house (I can't come close to that quality).
The kids will come over for sandwiches and pie after they're done with the big meal and I will have leftovers for WEEKS.

With this weekend, the Bill's have themselves in good position. Take care of the games you should, starting Sunday and take the Title. |

I’m living in a world of amazement at some of the things people are willing to say out loud.
Stopped in for a double order of Hots on a a Saturday afternoon at the end of September. I was on the road out that way. |

I have this weird feeling like they beat Pittsburgh, but lose to one of Denver, New England or LA.

Eichel on the Missin' Curfew podcast. He starts around 33 minutes, and start talking hockey around 45 minutes in. Worth a listen.

Yeah, good overall interview and wasn’t all about hockey.
I like that Eichel is working with Adam Oates in Florida. Hopefully he helps his game. I wouldn’t have hated if he worked with Daryl belfry too. |
