They need 1sts, 2nds and prospects bad. 17th ranked farm system and they'll have one pick in the top-3 rounds over 2 years. Their forwards are garbage town. They should be gutting - jcragcrumple
17th is a tad generous from the ratings i've seen...and to add to your point, they had no picks in the first three rounds of 2020 and have no first or third in 2021...
if this were the sabres predicament, i believe many would want them to put up the for sale sign and begin the rebuild now |

Supposedly, AZ told other GMs that anyone over 25 is definitely available. |

which puts them in a tough predicament...
i wouldn't expect them to get a leafs nation-type, overblown return for any of the players they might trade which includes those 'older' types like kuemper, raanta, kessel or stepan...
they're best trade pieces have no-move clauses...they're in a bind with oel as he has a full nmc and listing van and bos as the only places he'd accept a trade to and hjalmarsson refuses to waive his no-trade clause...
that's not exactly a position of strength |

Why is it dreamland to land DK then? Or you just think price would be significantly more? |

I was just riffing off of the posts shortly before mine that were lyrics from that Aerosmith song.

Arizona is gonna do something, a lot of stuff going on there from late Bonuses to not making rink payments. Rumor is they want to get down to 70mill, there are still talks there. |

It's a two-way street. The players have to want to be there in order to sign that team friendly deal.

Indeed. I think teams waiting to see if they might be able to poach someone from TB is partly the reason for the recent inactivity. |

You might have my brother, there were some good times to be had in Buffalo. No Names, Razor's, Limerick's, Goodbar, Brick. Elmwood rocked back then. - Buff36
I worked at Rayzor’s for a couple months before it closed
Freaking 5 for 1 nights were insanity
I don’t remember Limerick’s but have definitely drank at the rest over the years |

"The Bills were far, far closer than anyone realizes to drafting Patrick Mahomes.
When everyone else in the country was squeamish, this was who Pegula coveted as the face of his franchise. He brought Mahomes’ name up to anyone who’d listen. The rest of the world saw Mahomes as some swashbuckler who’d never be able to play this way in the pros. To Pegula, he was a star. Yet Pegula also did not want to meddle. He had placed this trust into McDermott — into the embryonic stage of “The Process” — so the Bills’ brass then decided to trade down from 10th overall to 27th to pick up a future first-rounder with hopes Mahomes would slide.
He did not."

Ok. All in on winning now. What is a fair cost to bring in Kuemper and possibly see him walk in 2 years as a UFA.
What is the cost to bury or buyout Hutton?
And last, Why on earth would they sign Ullmark for 2.6 Mil to have Kuemper come in to play the majority of the games. - Camel
1- Mitts & a 1st?
2- idk, just get rid of him
3- they obviously didn’t know if they could get Kuemper- or any other goalie- when they signed Ullmark. Also, 2.6mil isn’t a ton of $$$ by any means
And most importantly.... HUTTON BLOWS |

TB still has to sign Cirelli and Cernak and after signing Sergachev are already $2 million over the cap. |
