I think the scouting report said he's got a bit shot and plays a decent 2 way game. Not a flashy skating puckhandler who gives it up behind like a regular jake gardiner.

As a non-expert who hasn't seen him play much at all, my guess is that he doesn't produce points as a result of flash but as a result of solid fundamentals. Probably translates to less production in NHL?

Kinda like a Jeff Petry, not saying he will be his talent level...but a smart player with a good shot leads to goals. Won't be creating a ton of offence however.

He has a lethal shot...one that doesn't take an hour to load up like he who shall not be mentioned.
