Starting in January don’t believe ANYTHING you hear out of Washington. Gonna be so many kittens running around on sunny days with rainbows overhead you’ll swear the drinking fountains are giving out free Hawaiian Punch !

It’s gonna be great !

What do you mean? I just read yesterday that Trump won Pennsylvania and Georgia ?

I need to donate to his recount fundraiser because I absolutely do not want to be wasting money come January

It’s funny because all the Dem’s are complaining about this recount being a waste of tax payer $$ yet 4 years ago they would have spent EVERYTHING to prove there was Russian collusion. Then they went on to spend spend spend for the next 4 years to find any way possible to sink Yellow Man into the ground.

As an American these are very disheartening times. It took the Dem’s all this time to find someone worthy of backing and Biden is the best they could do. AFTER pumping Hillary before this race.

And we had to settle for the Yellow Man for four years (the lesser of the two evils).
I’m a registered Republican but I don’t vote party specific. I’ll vote for whomever I think has the best interest of the country in mind.

We’ve failed again. Why can’t either of these parties find someone worthy of running this country?

fyi, taxpayer-funded recounts are based upon margin of lead...for instance arizona funds an automatic recount if it's within 0.1% of total votes cast; for georgia and pennsylvania it's 0.5%; wisconsin 0.25%...

any margin above those numbers are paid for by the candidate/party that requests them...

as of right now the differences are:
--arizona 0.3%
--georgia 0.3%
--pennsylvanial 0.9%
--wisconsin 0.7%

meaning georgia taxpayers are the only ones paying for a presidential recount

Well, at least that’s good news that the taxpayers don’t foot the bill. It’d be great if the taxpayers could send the DNC a bill for all of the never ending Russian collusion investigations.

well, can we get a rebate for all the money spent at trump golf properties?

it's estimated that he was at those properties 285 times at an estimated cost of $141 million...

Trump should get some kind of a bill for golfing trips. Also for the Mar a Lago weekend/vacation trips, that’s what Camp David in nearby Maryland is there for, but I guess it wasn’t suitable for him. At least he didn’t take a salary, I guess.

Trump wasting more taxpayer money than the Dems’ investigations/impeachment, as true as it is, really has nothing to do with the point about the Dems wantonly wasting money on seemingly bogus investigations and impeachment. Bill the DNC for $35 million.
I have thought all along that Trump should be contributing to his vacation trips. Always having to come down to Palm Beach, because Camp David just “wasn’t his style”. I wonder if the money spent by PBSO during his frequent visits is part of the total $ spent which you cited. If not, then PB County is left with a huge bill, as well.

Well said. Nice job with this post. Golfed 285 times ... as President ?? What the hell ? Shouldn't he, I dunno, be working instead of golfing all the time ?!?

It's a very flawed estimate as identified in the article itself as it attributes the full weight of all costs against the golf trip, versus proration based on time spent there and who he was golfing with. Secondarily, I suspect that no "credits" of costs not used at the WH while he wasn't there were not factored in either.

Still, I agree there should be as invoice of some sort, if only for awareness only. Keep those expenses in line with an average range, no issue...above some level, then here's an invoice.

285 times though !?! Seems excessive for a President who's supposed to be Making America Great Again. By the way, not directed at you but I wonder how that's going. Been almost 4 years now and we're still hearing "Make America Great Again". Shouldn't it have been made great like in year 2, maybe 3 at the most ?

even so, that money did not go to persons and/or enterprises directly related to those involved in both investigations...in the case of trump, he never "divest[ed] from his business empire and will instead hand over control of his companies to sons Eric and Donald Jr., along with his longtime Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg."

he may not have taken that $400K presidential salary, but it sure looks like he more than made up for that

Was he elected king, or something? I guess it’s kinda hard to get a lot done when the other side spends the whole term blocking you at every turn, and focusing most on trying to oust you and never even considering any kind of cooperation. Even if there are credits to Trump’s work as President, the multitude will dismiss them solely due to their hatred of Trump, the person.

You posted that same comment, eh about a week ago I would guess.

The proper answer is; he did and it was until a Global Pandemic altered things.

1st President in decades not to have the start of a war on his record.
Nominated for 4 Nobel Peace Award
Best economy in decades
Lowest Unemployment for all...women, people of color, Hispanics
First Step law to address bias in incarcerations of minorities

I posted the list previously...if was long, long, long with the number if accomp, ishments.

Don't let the pure hate for a single man blind you to the facts.
