There really are about 10 bumholes on here.

Of course we are capable of beating a good team on any given Sunday,
But reaching the Super Bowl requires us to beat 3 good teams in a row

Get back to me when the running game & defense are actually both good
I’ll BILLieve that when i see it, bc so far this year they’ve both kinda sucked

There’s just too many major issues with this team

(frank) them.

Bills had many errors in the second half. Blaming this or that play is worthless. The Bills are a good team, they're not the best team but they are a good team, and even the best team has bad moments.

So (frank) the haters and (frank) the naysayers.

Go Bills. Josh Allen is elite, (frank) you if you think otherwise.

Yeah...running games win Super Bowls in the 2020s.

I can tell by all the MVP's the running backs win every year. Toss in how all those great running backs got Brady to 9 Super Bowls. Rams, Philly, Atlanta...all the great running teams.

Gimme a Czonka!!!! THATS what we need!!! Franco Harris!!! Tony Dorsett!!!!

1978 called...they want their game plan back.

The problem is that once in a great while it does people go "see! I told you!". Or when Brad Johnson or Trent Dilfer win on the backs of great defenses.

The total points in every SB from 2010:

56
38
65
51
52
34
62
74
16
51

The last 10 SBs have averaged 49.9 points per game, and when you throw out the high and low anomalies the average increases to 51.125.

Scoring 4 TDs only wins 2 of the last 10 SBs and one tie; adding a FG bumps that up to 4 wins with 2 more ties. Meanwhile scoring 21 and you'd win just once. Bottom line is it takes a lot of points, historically, to win a SB.

You might lose with a great QB, but your chances are way higher than trying to ride a defense to a championship. There's a reason everyone remembers Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson.

You have to play the odds, or you'll always be chasing.

Damian Williams was robbed of the MVP in the last Super Bowl.

Sony Michel averaged 112 yards per game on the ground in 2018 on route to a Pats SB victory. The Pats beat the Rams 13-3 and the only touchdown came on the ground.

That’s just the last two Super Bowls.

I wish you luck there, Allen haters especially refuse that premise, all Allen's bad throws are because he sucks, but the good ones are pure luck.

The thing that's amazing to me is how raw he still is, like on his second pick today, he was just a hair late, a play a savvy vet won't make, he'll learn to not make that throw in the future and/or when the game slows down for him more he'll be on time and it'll be a big gainer. Josh Allen is clutch, whether it's on 3rd down where they're tied for second(Chiefs) at 50%, just .8% behind the Raiders, or coming back in the 4th quarter, he led the league last year with 5, 2nd this year with 2, today would've given him a share of the lead, and some days, like yesterday that won't be enough.

The fact that he's 5th in the NFL in QBR still even after "all those bad games" is astonishing. For a guy the majority of people hated at the time-myself included-, "a project", to be behind only Mahomes, Brees, Rodgers, and 6 games of Fitzmagic. Where is Baker? 14. Lamar Jackson? 19. How about that (frank)face whose name escapes me at the moment, that smug mother(frank)er, that was most "pro ready", "polished", went through 2 teams in 2 years, and is now on the Pats practice squad? Josh Rosen, that's it.

The sky's the limit with the kid. How is that not incredibly exciting whether he ultimately gets there or not? There will be (frank) ups, it's the nature of the beast. Just enjoy the ride.

BTW, I was only talking about the suspiciously low number of 10 bumholes.

Grasping at straws now.

Look at what’s happened to Wilson since Chris Carson got hurt.

Seahawks lost again yesterday.

The Patriots have always been efficient on the ground even with Tom Brady and have always had very strong defences.

That’s why Brady has 6 SB’s and Aaron Rodgers (the best QB of this century) only has 1

It was a tough loss, penalties really hurt in the second half. That penalty Knox took on that 21yrd gain by Singletary was a killer. Need to get healthy. Hopefully Brown is alright, would be a huge loss.

No, that’s what happens when you have a well rounded team.

That’s the whole basis of my argument.

Even with the best QB play in the world at one point or another you are going to have to lean on a ground game and your defence.

Mahomes quite possibly had the worst game of his career in the Super Bowl yet won a ring.

Brady through for 265, an INT, and no touchdowns against the Rams with a 71 QBR (below average QB play) and beat the Rams by 10.

The only thing an Elite QB guarantees you is a playoff birth. Heck even that isn’t enough sometimes because Brees and Rodgers spent some seasons out of the playoffs entirely.

When the Chiefs beat the Bills this year how many yards did they get on the ground ? Asking for a friend.

Your cherry picking is impressive.

Lets cut to the chase....heres ALL I need for my argument. THIS will be my point from here forward and nothing else...

So...youre saying the Chiefs just gave Mahomes 50 million a year because why?? He hands off so well and the running back REALLY want him as the guy handing the ball off as they rely on their ground game??

50 million a year to be of secondary or tertiary importance to the team….

Sound logic.

I realize the Bill's were down on CB's this game, but believe they had Hyfe, Poyer and Tre in the endzone surrounding Hopkins...WTF were they all thinking?
In real time, it looked to me like they all were trying to catch the ball. Didn't see any of the three just try to knock the ball away, as in actively swat it away. Didn't see it in the replay either. Monumental error.

Too bad since Bass had an incredible game and Josh engineered another 4th Qtr comeback.
Oh well, get healthy boys. Stretch run starting in 2 weeks.

Every team is going to have to play out of character at some point during a season to win a championship. Teams do tend to really tighten things up in big games, or at least they attempt to. Your argument about New England's leaning on defense and the running game in the Super Bowls themselves has merit. However, if they leaned on them for the majority of any one of those seasons, save for maybe Brady's first as a starter, the Patriots don't get to 6 Super Bowls, let alone win them.

I don’t know if any of them could’ve knocked it away? It looked Hopkins jumped/reached up and grabbed it at a higher point before any of them could even reach it.
Edit: I guess they could’ve focused on trying to get a hand in between his hands and knock it loose from his grasp as he was coming down with it. Idk.

Yeah, and it actually looked like White was in position to knock it away when Poyer came jumping in and knocked White out.

I don't think it was a matter of trying to knock it away vs. an interception. At that point, you're just trying to get your hands on the ball somehow to prevent a catch. They all missed. Hopkins made a play that's going to be on highlight reels probably for decades.

The loss hurts emotionally because of how it ended. However, losing to an NFC team isn't the worst thing in the world. They're still in decent shape standings wise assuming they win the games they should the rest of the way, maybe even steal a game against Pittsburgh or something like that.
