11th seems about right. - mickel25
I agree. Not surprised that Leafs fans have their team ranked 7th. That top heavy win nothing out in the first round roster could mislead anyone in to thinking its built well. And I couldn't be happier. |

https://www.broadstreetho...e-top-10-teams-in-the-nhl
There is so much up in the air right now...not knowing the full paper rosters, how many games, what division set ups and many other factors.
It’s really just a shot in the dark for fun. To make my own guess at a ranking, I only evaluated the top half of teams so a high-rising dark horse team might sneak in later.
For now, my top ten NHL teams are:
1. DAL
2. VGK
3. TBL
4. STL
5. BOS
6. PHI
7. WSH
8. NYI
9. VAN
10. COL

(taking a deep breath before posting today...)
Ok - the simplest scheduling I can think of for a shortened season would be 4 games vs. (Metro) division opponents and 2 vs. other conference (Atlantic Div.) opponents. That would be 4x7=28 plus 2x8=16, for a total of 44 games.
Sounds great - except with border crossing iffy at best at this point, and temporary realignment a distinct possibility, the simple plan probably goes out the window. - copelal
The first part might work (Metro).
But what about the divisions that require international travel? |

This part is why I could see them doing a Canadian only division just for this season.

If he slips up, we can have Carlos Santana come back and enforce some locker room discipline.

On a pleasant conversational aside, I have to confess I did not realize you were such a moron earlier. Its not the intent, (I welcome give and take) but the vehicles used to carry them: diarrhea, smartypants etc.
And the fact that a rather clever insult referring to anus and passing out was an allusion to your talking crap, nit your being gay.
Now, sir, I believe I have given you much more attention than you deserve.
Please huddle with MJL in the warm embrace of my disinterest. |

You know what, the NHL did a very good job with the bubble.
(I know that article that Bill refers to talks about declining TV revenue, but it did not help that big market teams got tossed so early, and so few series went to 7).
What I mean is, I am optimistic they will actually work things out.
How about this:
1. Delay start of season
2. Concentrate local games in the front part of the schedule.
3. By this time, summer, and vaccine. Then play out the rest of the games.
Just spitballing. |

There's not enough Imodium in Philly to stop that case of diarrhea coming from PT's mind. |

Good lord.
Yet another man, yet another conservative, triggered into unholy public musings about my nether regions.
This is turning into a desire for not an alliance, or even a threesome but a wholesale full blown orgy.
I urge you to pretend, for the sake of decorum and your family, that this lust never happened, and to move on to Hockey.

Not exactly, I didn’t spend a lot of time on it. I used a quick ranking scale for goaltending, defense, center depth and scoring wingers. Many teams were tied in overall rank, and I just chose to list them where I did.
Edit: it looked like a top 3, middle 4 and bottom 4. PIT was my miss. Judgement call. |

I would rank:
1. COL (stacked baby)
2. TBL (same team minus some irrelevant pieces)
3. VGK (Alex!)
4. NYI (same team, Barzal 1 year more mature)
5. Dallas (I have my doubts, but they did reach SCF)
6. Flyers (The D is an Achiless heel potentially)
7. Boston (No one really replaced Krug. I would not be surprised to see them flame out)
8. Blues (I doubt they do it again, and Alex gone)
9. Carolina (Watch this team. One year more mature)
10. Habs (Maturity, Toffoli)
Dark horse: Rangers.

All I meant was, if it is established (probably from poor performance) that a hobby, wether it be motorcycle riding, Rock climbing, gaming, or clubbing has an effect on you and fulfilling your contractual obligations?
Then you can add it. Yes it has to be agreed upon, and it doesn't mean you can't do it.
It means you cannot get CAUGHT doing it. Or it can void the contract. |
|

COL is stacked in forward star power, but they have been underperforming to team value in the last 3 playoffs.
Look no further than goaltending and defensive depth to spot problems. This past season, COL starting goalie was injured during game 1 of the second round.
