It won't be much longer here in BC either. Idiots.
- VanHockeyGuy

Fraser valley and Vancouver health regions are already pretty much there. The island is fine, that's due to the higher level of iq amongst island sheep of course.

Edit
The northern health district also has high iq sheep.

I went to the mall yesterday in WPG to buy my wife's christmas gift.

There are lines all over the floor on which direction to walk and such. I have to say there were a lot of a certain group of people that just couldn't seem to walk in the direction of the arrows. It was a bit annoying. Hard to keep physical distance when some are walking in the opposite direction than you.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed we stay at 0 cases here, would hate to have to lock down at home now that winter has hit.

Halloween was nice because everyone was able to be out and about very safely, I'm sure the kids really needed it after being so cooped up for so long.

- NorthNuck

We had 27 kids this year for halloween. Normally we have 250-300.

Talking to my cousin yesterday he lives in Richmond I guess said he wanted to go visit his dad who lives in Burnaby. I have no idea how far those places are apart but supposedly he's not supposed to go there unless it's essential. His response was "(frank) that poop"

Retro in blue with V stripes looks ok

Don Taylor on TSN1040 has been pushing for this jersey for years. Looks great.

Good for Jurmo then that JB likes to trade away draft picks more than his prospects.
- manvanfan

Lol

I can see JB holding onto picks. At worst only traded if dumping cap. That said imo he’ll ride out contracts most likely. Picks traded only if on a serious run to contend which I don’t think is for 2-3yrs yet.

Do we have any even slight speculation what the trade was that JB was going to do to clear some cap space?

What? Still 1-1/2 months to go? I guess it's like Xmas weather in WPG pretty much all year though. Get into the spirit around Sept.

Trade dumps not possible in flat cap era for bottom 6 players. Only route open, when the leverage is there, is LTIR and MTA. But that too won't happen for months, if ever, given the snail pace confirmations for hockey in NA.

N4U hasn't told us yet but I think it was forcing Erikson to MTA. Think it was supposed to happen before November.... IDK.

About 20 or so drive, but if caught he can be fined. The restrictions are in place(and more will only be put on, and eventually be for all of BC) in order to ensure that COVID is not spreading from one district to another. Easier to isolate incidents that way. Maple Ridge Hospital had a major outbreak, and the Mission Penitentiary also has a major one.

I'm curious about the ferry... nobody is supposed to be traveling on them from any region with an order on it. Means nobody but islanders and essentials should be on the ferry.... but I don't think that's the case.

Probably not, people often don't listen. Police can still fine each person on those ferries that are not there for essential reasons/going back home. What we may feel is essential, often isn't to the Gov't.

We can only hope that LE becomes allergic to his gear, or decides to retire due COVID risks being too great.

There was a care home in Wpg that had 7 deaths from covid over like a two day period. Was 7 nurses for 120 people or something ridiculous.

I was at a party so I wasn't handing out candy, but my parents told me they ran out at about 6:45 at their place and they had individually wrapped bags for 90 kids.

Vans prospects always get shafted because Bettman doesn't want the Canucks to win a cup.

"You'll play for 10 to 12 days," Commissioner Bettman said in a virtual panel discussion during the 2020 Paley International Council Summit. "You'll play a bunch of games without traveling. You'll go back, go home for a week, be with your family. We'll have our testing protocols and all the other things you need.

I was talking about something like this to friend earlier this week.

That or something like the Toews baseball type schedule where you play 3 games in 4 nights vs one team and that travel somewhere else.

Soccer has been going on in Europe and players have been testing positive for covid after a game and are told to go home. Not many if any of the other players are getting it.
