I think he won. BIGLY. As a supporter or Mr. West, I demand a recount. |

so it took them 2 days after declaring biden the winner to declare they have a vaccine coming.
i guess i was wrong. i thought it would be one day. - Tumbleweed
This is embarrassing. The information here is from Canada. It's also nothing new. They had projected Q1 of 2021 all along, but there is confirmation that it's on track.

You're right... Q1 of 2021 they should hopefully be able to produce enough vaccines. |

It was a really good show. Even the non political, hail storm skit was hilarious. |

Why would I be sour? I'm not on the list am I?
It's not his first article that is questionnable at best because it's based on projected wins per money spent.
Are you saying you agree with the list? You'd rather have Brent Seabrook on your team with his current contract than Jacob Trouba?
To each his own I guess.. - Scabeh
Agree with you, article has major flaws and is based on projections based on opinions and guesses. Trouba might be an overpay but I'd much rather have him than Seabrook, not even close. Eriksson with only two years left is a stinker as well.

Trump was pushing for a vaccine to be released before election day. He promised one like a month ago. It was unsafe and irresponsible considering that there would not have been time to properly vet it.
For me personally, last night I actively googled for an update on the COVID vaccine status to see if things were progressing positively or if there had been setbacks. When Trump made his statement we ALL knew it was dumb and if a vaccine had been pushed it would been poorly vetted.
These are unrelated things. The vaccine progress is on track. Trump is irrelevant. |

Politicizing a vaccine is the most ridiculous thing. I don't care from which angle. This is a milestone for all of humanity in defeating a pandemic and it should be celebrated just as that. We can't keep pointing at anything and everything and claim election interference. It undermines democracy and the people. |

Trump made claims that were not science-driven.. "What about disinfectant spray, can we inject that?" We know he didn't believe the virus was real.. It's not related, and you're right, Trump is irrelevant again. |

I agree - but at least you're done with Eriksson in 2 years. With luck you can find a taker for him in the off-season with a sweetener if you're desperate for cap space (although this is harder with a flat cap obviously).
To me, I love Brent Burns, but a contract that ends when he's 40 and goes for 5 more years is tough. I love Weber, but a contract with a cap recapture penalty attached that goes until he's 40 sucks. Suter and Parise also have contracts that run 5 years until they're 40. Vlasic runs up to 39 . . .
Seabrook at least is only at $5m, but it still goes for 4 more years. That's a lot of suck.

Maybe, but he doesn't mention it.
And since his model views these contracts as problems for the long term, it shouldn't matter I guess?
Either way, my opinion on the guy is well documented at this point. - Scabeh

The Sharks have some horrible contracts moving forward for a team that's not looking like a contender for the next few years.
