He'll fit in great with Nylander and Matthew's.

What a strange question

42?

- dbot

Just a guess cuz curious lol

Anyone playing with them can get at least what JV would get unless he wakes up.

He didn't ask goals, but peak goals i think you've got it...

60 to 70 points, he's a great passer for his age.

I suppose.
But that's a strange comparable, because JV hasn't played more than a couple shifts/games with JTM and Pettersson

I ignored Brock on purpose. Bo needs a sniper. Petey & Miller will score enough so using Pod to compliment them. Both lines could match up well against ops top 2 lines.

Down the road if ever...

How many points would Pod get flanking Petey with Miller?

- Nighthawk

713.

I’d say 50 with upside as he gets experience

You didn't specify. It was too weird a question not answer.

Allsvenskan is a weird league, Dahlen looked like a star in that league. Worth noting as well that he had 18 in 12 games last year. No idea if that is good production for a 20 yr old in that league or not.
- belcherbd

I would say pretty good production for where he was picked in the draft. If he continued to develop more skills, he might have a chance at 3rd line in the NHL but at this point, he would have to take a jump for me personally to think he had a higher ceiling than 4th line.

I think you answered your own question if you understand the definition of assumption.

Assumption - a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.

- bloatedmosquito

I think you missed the HUGE amount of sarcasm.

Ah. I see. I didn't understand your OP.

I'd like to see JV with JTM for awhile too, we could also try:

Pearson-Petey-Brock
JTM-Bo-JV

Pod is 1" and 8lbs heavier while being over a year older, so... 😂😂🤣
- leafslunch

You didn't actually come in here to defend your player and not actually use facts right?

Over a year older?

June 24, 2001 to Oct 2, 2001 is not even half a year let alone a year older.

Also rumour has it according to a random KHL twitter guy. Podkozlin is now measuring 6'4" to which his wiki page says the same thing.

I don't think that Pearson has the upside to play with Petey.

I’m down for JTM Petey JV but Pearson nope sorry. Rather Pod Petey Brock down the road if I went with your twist

Apparently Cody Hodgson, CHL Player of the Year, World Juniors star and tournament leading scorer, is a forgotten memory. The NHL is a different animal.

If Podkolzin only played with his peers and he had great success I’d be more excited, the fact he struggles against men concerns me. Yes there’s a KHL factor at play, however, if he could help his KHL team win you can bet your ass he’d be playing more....because winning matters.

Hodgson couldn't skate and coasted on his skill, Podz is a solid skater (still has work to do but is strong) and is a last guy in the gym type (most important aspect between whether comparable players exceed in the NHL or not).

SKA has all the leverage, they are usually one of the top teams in the league and can afford to sit players that don't sign extensions with them. If SKA didn't have other top players, then Podz would be playing. They can afford to send a message. Doesn't mean Podz doesn't need to get better but he should excel alongside Petey and JT.

Agreed, Pod's skills better compliment Miller and Petey.
