It’s now been at least 16 games he’s been an above average starter with the last 9 being......elite

We went to the last Bills’ homegame with Johnson. Pulled into the parking lot just past 8 am.

By about 11 am, wandered into the “gift shop” that guy has in his living room. Rob Johnson jerseys for $10! And I’m liquored up! I’ll take one!

About 30 minutes later, stumble upon a stand selling t-shirts that proclaim “Rob sucks the big Johnson!” Yeah, gotta have one of those, which I pull over my new Rob Johnson jersey.

We go to the game, and an older security guard politely says, “Hey fellas, there are kids here, do you mind taking those t-shirts off?”

“Yeah, you are right, no problem, sir.” I whip off the t-shirt to reveal my Johnson jersey.

Guy just looks at me, shakes his head and walks off. I still piss myself thinking about it.

He was injured with a broken clavicle and still played good .

Jets game he was 31 of 40 310yrds, moved the ball up and down the field, had a TD called back, and 2 other drives stopped by penalties. Patriots game he threw 18 times and completed 11 passes, they ran the ball. KC and Tennessee he was of his game. He's been pretty good this year.

I dont care if it's Miller, Montour or Risto who they move. Borgen will be 24 when the season starts so it's getting to the now-or-never phase to see if he should be protected in the expansion. Moving one of the 3 above allows him to transition to the NHL as a 6/7 D while not counting on him to be anything good. Id like to see what he's got, especially because he adds a different physical dynamic to the defense

Yeah, except overpaying good players is fine. Okposo was fine before his brain turned to mush; that's just bad luck. When you pay Girgensons what Girgensons AND Larsson should cost(and keep the wrong one on top of it), it's a terrible, indefensible move.

Let's not pretend like Mahomes was amazing. The weather was dogpoop and the best QB in the league had a bad, for him, game. How well do you think Allen is going to do?

The Chiefs ran the ball almost 50 times. The Bills entire game plan was to defend the pass. Mahomes went 21/26 and had a 128.4 QBR. Mahomes handled the weather conditions much better than Allen did.

However, using Mahomes as the litmus test for QB play isn’t fair to anyone. He’ll be the best to ever do it by the time he’s retired.

Would be hard pressed to find many players, even the elite ones, that were overpaid on Tampa and St.Louis the last two years.

That’s what makes the Stanley Cup the hardest trophy to win in sports.

Need to have multiple great players, need them to all produce higher then the rate they are paid, need to have good luck, need to stay healthy.

All it takes is a hot goaltender to Frank your season, or injuries at the wrong time.

Tampa has been the best team in the NHL for years and finally did it in a pandemic.

He's playing some good football, every QB has games like KC and Tennessee. "The Experience" is doing his job. Know if they can clean a few things up like the run game which will only make Allen more dangerous and the defense keeps improving, makes for a very dangerous team.
