i think much of america won...the ousting of trump will help us return to a sense of normalcy, insomuch as a pandemic and the economic ramifications will allow, and the voters also kept the dems in check by not only thwarting a blue wave, but also making it harder for them to take full control of congress in the 2022 mid-terms...

am of the opinion that we got it right...and i'll die on that hill

That's a much better hill to die on

My cousin and I are battling from atop Girgensons Pinnacle.

Although I agree with pretty much every post, could you help lead this group in a different direction?

Must be my fault you’re trying to start sh!t again
- jdfitz77

You just let me know what I can and can’t post.

So far, I can’t be negative about the Sabres, but can’t be too positive about the Bills or Allen.

i wrote a blog, the number of posts on it probably fills a page and a half...I thought it was a pretty good blog, but people have other things on their mind, like elite-allen, fitz-bashing and politics which covers 61 pages

Attempting to create a new global hegemony by stealing intellectual property, suppressing free speech and leveraging debt in emerging and established nations?
- jcragcrumple

A vaccine is not going to make trillions in debt disappear.

The debt won’t be paid back, it will be inflated away.

Meanwhile Americans are divided and Trump’s handling of the virus has played a huge role in that.

A quote by Sun Tzu author of the Art of War comes to mind

“If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected. The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

The Fed has been printing money and giving it a fancy term of “quantitative easing” since the 2008 Financial Crisis.

Trump took over and created the largest deficits in a non-recession years ever to fuel his stock market bubble that was bound to pop regardless of Covid.

Like Jesus did anyone see what happened to the markets and the economy when the Fed did consecutive quarters of raising interest rates ? That’s not a sign of a strong economy.

The icing on the cake was Trump administration making cuts to the pandemic response teams

The rest is history. Economy was already set up to fail, pandemic hits when the response team is disbanded and they are in a point of no return when it comes to printing money and furthering the deficit.

We are heading for hyperinflation and currency debasement. Actually, we are already seeing asset hyperinflation. “Stonks only go up” and I don’t think I have to remind anyone of soaring real estate prices while unemployment is high and the economy is suffering.

Dude, i like Girgs too
But he doesn’t belong in the top6
He might be “ok” like Sobotka was last year,
but he’s already shown to be good in a defensive role
So it wouldn’t make sense to move him around (imo) unless we really had to

- jdfitz77

I agree with this post Mr. Fitz.

After discussing Zemgus with my cousin, we think Krueger will indeed use him in a "Sobotka"way.

-2nd line minutes at times
-A mix of 'grit" with some talented Sabres forwards.
- Funny how we actually have alot of talent at forward. Eichel, Hall, Skinner, Oloffson and even Stahl.

Also, Ralph coaches "unorthedox" and doesn't follow traditional lines #'s and such.
Girgs will see 14 minutes a game, but without Larry
After this Contract this buffalo icon will be in the top 10 of games played as a buffalo sabre

3rd-line minutes max with pk duties...his and his line's main job under housley was flipping the ice and being a menace to the opposition skill lines...under krueger that was still their main task, however they did see more o-zone starts and more offensive opportunity...
what he's not done is prove he can be a top-nine player in a scoring role

Good I am glad you feel that way. Hope you are right, I am of the opinion I pretty much control what happens in my life, in most ways. I worked hard for what I have, it's what you make of your life, not a bunch of politicians who have been to busy trying to bend eachother over.

Your blogs are the best Mike. We are lucky to have you back.

If Josh Allen isn't playing Elite football now, there will never be another Buffalo QB who will be considered elite.

We are blessed to have such a great guy on and off the field.

He is BUFFALO, and just hitting his stride

Just wait until people find out that the global economy is nothing more than a figment of their imagination.

The dichotomy is hilarious, they don't trust crypto because it's "only numbers", but are all in on the USD.

He didn’t use Girgs that way last year at all,
even after Sobotka was hurt for the majority of the season

I’m not necessarily against the idea,
but why would he do that now?
Especially now that we can fill all those slots with more offensively talented players

Didn’t we use Sobotka on line2 bc we didn’t really have anyone else to put there?
Now we could put Olofsson or Cozens at RW2

I'm really thinking that the Sabres back Girgs substancial contract with some playing time. They just paid him to stay, they are gonna want to look good.

The whole Sobatka thing, was crazy but seemed to be working with skinner? nobody would have used vlad in that situation. Ralph did.

The O-zone start was another example of outside the box thinking. LOG under phail was terrible and used mostly defensively.

The Sabres are gonna need some pluggers on with eichel at times

* Proof of top 9 forward _scoring the 5th most goals on the team . Seems like the top 9 forwards would produce the most goals.

Highest % of throws on target:
1. Drew Brees - 84.2%
2. Teddy Bridgewater - 83.5%
3. Josh Allen - 81.4%—————- This guy is elite
4. Russell Wilson - 81.1%
5. Ryan Fitzpatrick - 81.0%

Lowest
1. Drew Lock - 65.6%
2. Dwayne Haskins - 68.8%
3. Carson Wentz - 71.1%
4. Sam Darnold - 73.9%
5. Tom Brady - 74.1%

- sbroads24

Average QB play would do the Broncos wonders.

I’m hoping Lock can have a Josh Allen type epiphany and figure out how to step up in the pocket, scan the field, and shift protections.

The guy has the pocket awareness and downfield vision of Hellen Keller.

Bills Mafia deserves a winner though. It’s been a longtime coming.

With the weapons Josh has its impossible to defend them man to man. As long as the running game can take advantage of light boxes and your
Defence can continue to improve off of the last two times out the Bills very well might be the only team that can go toe to toe with the Chiefs (barring injuries)

Great points again, seriously

The combination of re-signing lazar , signing Reider makes me feel like that's the 4th line? Reider ultimately taking Girgs position on the LOG line. Which was kinda the 3rd line anyways.

Look at the other top 8 guys.

It's impossible to not be playing with nhl talent. That's a stacked line up.

last year they couldn't move guy's down the line up like vesey or erod or sheary . Stuck with them in top 9 minutes

Just so we’re clear, now any post having to do with Allen is somehow starting poop with you?

There’s one simple reason, it’s because you know you were wrong when you tried downplaying his performances week after week.

Fair, but Skinner faded further and further.

I think he could be a Kracken? He would need to waive and all, but he could escape if we're terrible again.

Johansson slipped as well (injured too?) Then Skinner ended up in Ralph's doghouse, which is how I believe the story went

You forgot Eakin

Maybe Girgs does bump up the lineup?
He did score well last year (*for him)

Maybe we don’t use a “log” line anymore?
It’s certainly possible
I just wouldn’t assume that though
Especially since they’re most likely gonna be shuffling around the scoring lines to see who has chemistry

I like the idea of grit & toughness throughout the lineup, but only if those guys actually play well in those roles moving up

My guess on the lineup looks somewhat like:
Hall-Eichel-Reinhart
Skinner-Staal-Olofsson/Cozens
Olofsson/Mitts-Eakin/Mitts/Cozens-Tage/Cozens
Reider-Girgs-Okposo
13th- Lazar
