Kritter, You asked.
Well, for ME it really is all about POLICY for the United States of America … not against something, but rather for real actions taken and real results achieved…accomplishments.

Here is my summary of why I have already placed my vote for Trump:

I) Help for the poor, underprivileged and minorities:
Here are the facts concerning Trump and the African American community as reported by Farah Stockman, member of the editorial board of the New York Times.
• African Americans benefit because unfortunately many, according to Associated Press research cited in 2018 by USA TODAY, are in low-paying jobs…the lowest-paid 25% of Americans had a 4.5% income boost in November 2019, outpacing gains for the country’s highest-paid workers.
• Pre COVID-19,
§ African American unemployment was at an all-time low.
§ Hispanic-American unemployment is at the lowest rate ever recorded.
§ Asian-American unemployment recently achieved the lowest rate ever recorded.
§ Women’s unemployment recently reached the lowest rate in 65 years.
§ Youth unemployment has recently hit the lowest rate in nearly half a century.
§ Lowest unemployment rate ever recorded for Americans without a high school diploma.
§ New unemployment claims hit a 49-year low.
• Median household income hit highest level ever recorded.
• Under President Trump, 7 million people have come off food stamps.
• The Pledge to America’s Workers has resulted in employers committing to train more than 4 million Americans.
• Trump signed the first Perkins C.T.E. reauthorization since 2016, authorizing more than $1 billion for states each year to fund vocational and career education programs.
• Under Trump, poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans reached their lowest levels since the U.S. began collecting such data.
• Trump signed the groundbreaking First Step Act, a criminal justice reform bill that made our justice system fairer and helps former inmates return to society.
§ More than 90% of those benefitting from the retroactive sentencing reductions in the First Step Act are African Americans
§ The First Step Act’s reforms addressed inequities in sentencing laws that disproportionately harmed African Americans, and reformed mandatory minimums that created unfair outcomes.
• Removed the onerous Penalty for individuals who are unable to pay for Health Insurance, saving individuals thousands of dollars

II) Put America First / Economic Improvement
From an economic standpoint, the Trump administration has made great strides.
• Under Trump’s leadership, in 2018 the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s largest producer of crude oil.
§ During 2020, Trump negotiated with Russia and Middle Eat Oil suppliers to reduce Oil production to stabilize the oil industry …directly preserving American jobs while keeping fuel prices low
• The Trump administration made a deal with the European Union to increase U.S. energy exports to Europe.
• It withdrew the U.S. from the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership, a major change in trade policy.
• The Trump Administration secured $250 billion in new trade and investment deals in China and $12 billion in Vietnam.
• It approved up to $12 billion in aid for farmers affected by unfair trade retaliation, but announced a total of $28 billion in aid for farmers in 2018 and 2019.
• Since Covid 19 arrived from China, the economy is now recovering. The pace of the recovery is slowed by Democrat run states not opening their economies. Why can’t we do both??

III) Protect our Borders
President Trump is fulfilling his promise to build a border wall, with an expected 450 miles will be finished by the end of 2020.
The new wall has contributed to a 56% overall decrease in the number of illegal migrant arrivals at the border.
Under President Trump, the U.S. Border Patrol has arrested hundreds of members of dangerous gangs.
The Administration has made it a priority to end human trafficking and is using many resources to do so.
The Administration provided funding to support the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
The Anti-Trafficking Coordination Team (ACTeam) initiative more than doubled convictions of human traffickers and increased the number of defendants charged in ACTeam districts.
40 missing woman and children were rescued from human trafficking operations outside of Atlanta
In April 2017 the FBI arrested 150 pimps and rescued more than 100 exploited teenagers involved in sex trafficking. Taken together, the raids, which took place in more than 70 cities, constitute the largest FBI action focused on finding sexually exploited children.
RICHMOND, Texas – Dozens of people involved in human trafficking in Fort Bend County have been arrested and charged in a sting, authorities said. According to authorities, “Operation Patriot” took place over four days in September and was a collaborative effort between 23 agencies and resulted in the rescue of five victims and 46 arrests.

IV) Foreign Policy
President Trump received three separate nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize …Contrary to the 2016 fearmongering, President Trump has not initiated war with any other country.
• The United States has successfully decimated ISIS.
• Under President Trump, the number one terrorist leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was taken out.
• President Trump ordered the killing of Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force and an evil, ruthless, and deadly terrorist.
• President Trump fulfilled his promise to name Jerusalem Israel’s capital city and moved the U.S. Embassy
• President Trump held two historic summits with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, further demonstrating the Administration’s commitment to a denuclearized Korean peninsula.
• President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the Iran Nuclear Agreement and instituted the toughest sanctions in history to drive the regime’s oil exports to zero.
• Secured the release of a dozen hostages

IV) Energy
· The United States of American has become energy independent.
· By supporting Fracking, the United States is now a net exporter of cheap natural gas for the first time since 1957.
· From the Wall Street Journal: “Energy-related CO2 emissions in the U.S. fell 2.8% last year. The U.S. saw the largest decline in energy-related CO2 emissions in 2019 on a country basis due to a 15% reduction in the use of coal”

VI) Treaties
· Facilitated treaties between Israel and two Middle East countries.
· Moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem.
· A U.S.-Mexico-Canada Trade Deal to replace NAFTA.
· An agreement with the E.U. to increase U.S. exports.
· Imposed tariffs on China in response to China’s forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and their chronically abusive trade practices.

VII) Healthcare

Provided more affordable healthcare options for Americans through association health plans and short-term duration plans. They will cover pre-existing conditions
Preserving the 180M health plans provided by employers
Many drug companies are freezing or reversing planned price increases.
Reformed the Medicare program, saving seniors hundreds of millions of dollars this year alone.
In response to China’s efforts to spread COVID-19, not in China, but worldwide, China citizens were stopped from entering the USA. it is estimated that there would have been death numbers in the millions.

In addition to the accomplishments above, I am also voting for ideals with which I align with and not for one person, I'm voting for the future of my Country…these United States of America

Why not expose Risto? A smart team won't take him anyway and if they do, more playing time for Dahlin and Joker.

Dems should’ve been able to run the reprehensible character Trump out of town on a rail, though. They spent four years plotting his demise, they had the media doing all in their power to disparage Trump along the way. They made it a neck and neck race by propping up sleepy joe to run. They really made it much closer with their silence, and the approval it implied, over the looting and rioting and the (frank) the Po-lice movement. Many people who were ready to dump Trump thought twice after watching the radical side of the Dems seeming to hold so much sway in the Party. That the bigoted, sexist, arrogant, worst human ever, Trump was so close to winning again is more of a knock on the Democratic Party. I think a great number of votes, on both sides, were more of a vote against the other guy than truly backing the candidate voted for.
- Ratsreign

no...

nobody knows his base like trump...everything he did from the moment he took office was to solidify his base and everything he did all summer and fall leading up to the election was to get them out to vote...everything including the muslim ban, bashing snowflakes and mainstream media, the wall, the paris accord and even his approach to covid from April on...

it was a masterful job that came up short...

america got it right when they voted him out but also didn't entrust the federal legislation to the dems...

imo, of course

here would be my approach if i were sleepy joe..i'd bring in the major congressional players, sit them down and say, "look, nancy, mitch, i've known both of you a very long time and, quite frankly, we're too old for this bickering poop. We need to get something done right now on the relief plan. Mitch, you got your court appointees and Nancy you got your house now it's time to get for 'muricans. Hammer this relief plan out now and make it veto proof. Kamala, get in touch with AOC and make sure she doesn't get all spastic on social media. Chuck. Step back and stfu for a while. You can be very annoying in your partisanship."

Be interesting to see if he can get them all to the table, and just take the blinders off.

Boss, stop. There's no need to flame. Be the bigger man.
- Wetbandit1

From what I hear, its difficult to be a " bigger" man.

For 5 years we have had to deal with homie the losers posts about trump. " it's all trumps fault" Bull poop

No matter how many times we've asked him to keep it non political around here. I even left for 3 months ,because of the insistent trump posts and bickering.

This (frank) stain then has the balls to change his avatar to a picture of his supreme orange lord. What a (frank).

He deserves reminders of his complete lack of respect for others. Get used to it WET1.

some good points and some not so good, but well thought out and laid out...

a few non-inflammatory things:

--hillary won the popular vote by close to 3M and an argument could be made that many trump voters voted against her out of pure disdain for her
Again, Trump didn't have a history/track record for Trumpsters to rely on. Yes, we did vote against Hillary and her misguided track record and unethical political history.] different story in my eyes as Joe had 47 years of relative insignificant service, and usually on the wrong side of history.
He can be the poster child for term limits...IMO

--upon entering the white house, trump had both houses of congress on his side yet only passed two pieces of legislation--the tax cut and elimination of the aca's individual mandate. 1a

--everyone had issues with the novel coronavirus early on from scientific ignorance of what it was and how it spread...however, to dismiss science later on for political gain, e.g. the mask wars, is unconscionable at least and a direct, potentially deadly threat to humans at worst...that's not even arguable. Well so you say. No one said he handled it great...because as you pointed out the Corona was in fact novel. Fauci himself flipped on the benefits of wearing a mask, the expert held up as the Science godfather ... but he has been quite wrong on some issues...it should have been anticipated. (he is quite accompished no doubt, just not infallable)

--of course dems planned on taking trump down from the get-go, just as he said fron the time he took office that he was running for reelection...By running a covert operation even when the operatives told their leadership there was no evidence? Then proceed to spend valuable time and efforts by elected officials to lie to the public? It was all very non sensical

--trump did everything he could (which was quite admirable from a campaign perspective) to get his base out and he succeeded...a good portion of his votes also came out of fear that "socialism" was rearing it's ugly head...however, that wasn't enough. It was not enough. Although, even the most ardent Biden supports (are there any really, or like Kritter, Fitz and perhaps, perhaps yourself (based on several posts) just Trump-haters?)have to be amazed that nearly all states flipped. I'll recognize Joe as the winner, yet also support a full and thorough investigation into allegations. The country deserves it, yes?
--the pres got beat by soon to be president elect "dead man walking" in the popular vote and the democratic machine out-dueled the trump and his machine in the electoral college...it was (and still kind of is) a fascinating election and, imo, a tribute to how a democracy should work...and that includes dumping trump and not allowing the dems full reigns on legislation (although the AK senate race has not been determined and there will be two GA senatorial run-offs) Fascinating might be the understatement, but absolutely yes it has. I love the Electoral College and still consider our ForeFathers to be abso.utely brilliant!

the dumbocrats actually did quite well...they needed as many votes as they could get from every corner of their coalition, which is where harris came in

think about it, she's a woman, she's part black, part indian and progressive...you're hitting four blocks of voters with one swing...i'm interested to see how millenials and gen z affected the election...i think it will show that it was a big plus for the dems and the harris pick was a big part of that

Imagine if Trump had a fraction of dignity, honor and decorum. The guy would win in a landslide.

Get outside guys, it's nice AF out there. Have a good day.

here would be my approach if i were sleepy joe..i'd bring in the major congressional players, sit them down and say, "look, nancy, mitch, i've known both of you a very long time and, quite frankly, we're too old for this bickering poop.

Reasonable.
Should add, hey Mitch...at my State of the Union Address, please don't do something childish like throw-up all over the printed copy
