I couldn't be more impressed with this community. This place is truly elite despite what people like Beady think with his sample sizes and his numbers and his face and hair and such

Could we start seeing some more movement here, if this so-called NHL start on Jan. 1st. Teams are gonna have to start being Cap compliant in a month or so.

I doubt it starts Jan 1st. I'd say there's more likely a nationwide shutdown around Jan 25th.

Elite qb or not...

“Allen became the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era to have at least two games with 400 yards passing, three or more touchdowns, no interceptions and a 130 or better passer rating in one season.“

Probably going to play this nhl season in some sorta semi restricted bubble.

Players might not be happy, but there may not be an another option.

Maybe 2 or 3 (15-20 game) tournaments with breaks in between?

finish the playoffs in a straight up bubble

4 different divisions rotating games per month?

at that point, what's the point? there's no money to be made. If the players want to share profits when its profitable but dont want to share the losses when it's not profitable I'd just bag it if I was an owner. I far prefer going to games over televised ones anyways. it's all just meh without fans imo.

I would think the players and the union would have to look at playing under a reduced pandemic wage? Either play and share profits or stay at home.

My guess is the players would want to play. its still a game and beats sitting at home?

Did they get a full salary for this past season?

Tv hockey is much better than no hockey.

I doubt there is a season for 20-21 right now

unless cases drop big time in the next 6 weeks

empty arenas = losing money = no season

Games aren’t spreading the virus. And that’s games, believe it or not, in just about any sport. I’ve been saying for a while that I couldn’t think of a single example of the virus being transmitted on the field, and Sills confirmed that for me.

“We have seen zero evidence of transmission player-to-player on the field, either during games or practices, which I think is an important and powerful statement,” Sills said. “And it also confirms what other sports leagues have found around the world. We regularly communicate with World Rugby, Australian rules football, European soccer leagues. To date, no one has documented a case of player-to-player transmission in a field sporting environment.

And....the stats keep building

Josh Allen's 85% adjusted completion percentage: league rank #1

Bills first team in 5 years to have 7 receivers with a 20+ reception in 5 years

Projected Stats: 68.9%, 4600 yds passing, 34 passing tds, 9 ints, 430 yds rushing, 9 rushing td's

BUT......Josh Allen IS NOT elite

How? Those decisions are up to the States not the Federal Government.
