exactly - biden was a terrible candidate. Most were not voting for him.

when you have a guy that is a terrible candidate; people don't come out to vote. see illinois, NY, NJ, maryland and california.

You don't get significant increases in traditionally red states like montana, wyonming, oklahoma etc. States that biden completely ignored.

increased vote count in 45 states for a guy not even half the democrats wanted. i'm not buying this result.

I said it yesterday, and I'll repeat it one more time: You are completely underestimating how much the people who don't love him hate Donald Trump. You called him an bumhole, but he's so much more than that. He is literally the worst of us. He is exactly what I was taught NOT to be when I grew up. Selfish, arrogant, crass, rude, dishonest, self-involved, avaricious, hateful, mean . . . decent people everywhere wanted him gone.

I think most people were raised with those same convictions, and most people were just exhausted of seeing these acts of a world-class poop head play out 11 times a day on Twitter.

The election isn't over. The electorate are still playing games. Who knows? But I will say this, when Biden said that this election was about decency and character, that's what I think the majority of voters went for.

You can choose to not believe the numbers, but for the above reasons, that's why I think the numbers came out the way they did. It wasn't belief in Biden. It was for the character their country.

This isn't an alt right thing. Average people in AZ are angry.

And I haven't even talked to one my cop buddies. should see one at the rink tonight.

But maybe i'll stop in to the gun store on the way home to pick up some ammo. my ex-marine buddy with more AR-15's than I have ammo will probably be the calm voice of reason i need to hear right now.

It's a thing where you are buying into a conspiracy theory without a shred of evidence.

FFS, Karl Franking Rove is saying that voter fraud on a scale that would move an election isn't possible, so people need to stop spouting this franking nonsense.

Karl Rove knows 100X more about elections than you do.

Karl Rove would never say a single franking thing to help the Democrats.

So please take a moment to put aside your emotions and ask yourself if you really want to continue with the notion that the election was fixed.

You have every right to be angry. But don't let it cloud your judgement.

And by the way, Arizona may very well go to Trump. It's razor-close right now.

Do we see hockey back on Jan 1st or more like Jan 18th and a 48 game schedule?

I'm not sure what the extra 18 days would do. I don't really know what chatter there's been about it.

I would imagine that they'd do your standard 18 games / month on average schedule; if you could play out season play until the end April and extend the playoffs out 3 more weeks over normal, you could reasonably get in a 60 game season. That being said, I don't know CBA caveats are in play (bye weeks, etc.). If they could get to 60 games, it would work better with the 72% agreement they had in place.

I wonder what they think the Covid arc looks like. When do they think travel will be ok, the border will be ok, do they have any scenario where delays mean fans at some point?

I also wonder if the PA is going to push on the 72% being pro-rated.

It’s like making game 7s end after the second period, a terrible, terrible idea. Right?

Training camp would open Jan 2. this way the players could have the Holidays off.
And they need to be done before the Olympics start according to the Fellas on overdrive.

Holy crap. Is it an Olympics year? How long has this pandemic been going on?

I suppose that makes sense.

I guess, as CanadaCup points out, it really depends on where we move with Covid - but the proposal makes some sense. I did see a headline earlier today that they were still aiming for Jan 1. I didn't read the article though, so . . . it could say anything in it!

Dude. Trump had an historically low approval rating throughout his Presidency. His term ended with 220k dead bodies and counting from a virus he admitted on tape to lying about. The country has been in an economic crisis not seen since the Depression. America's standing in the world lies in shambles. None of his promises were fulfilled, and he had no platform for a second term. He lost the popular vote in his first election.

What exactly about Trump losing is surprising to you? Were you surprised when the Red Wings missed the playoffs this year? It's time to sharpen up Occam's Razor here. Trump lost because he's a terrible President and people were sick of his bullpoop. That's it.

Booked yesterday afternoon a week ago when the forecast looked good. Yesterday was going to try to get another round in this weekend. Tried 12 courses in Guelph and K/W ... nothing for Monday or Tuesday... unless you want to start at 3:30

Quite a few Trump supporters are conspiracy theorists, its the kind of personality he attracts.

Its not a surprise they cant handle this loss. Someone is always lying when they dont get their way.

Sad.
