When I lived in Montreal, a last ditch stop at the Taco Smell in Kingston was mandatory because there's only two locations in all of Quebec.

We used to drive to an hour north to Squamish to a road side stop to get the only Taco Bell you could find. We were idiots.

The Tea Party swore they were all about a reduction on government spending and a lowering of the deficit (lower taxes too, of course).

Trump ballooned both government spending and the deficit (and debt, of course), and you didn't hear a single franking peep out of a single franking Republican, especially those angry voices who have morphed from Tea Baggers (yeah, that's on purpose) to Trumpists. Hell, Rush Limbaugh openly said that deficits don't matter.

The current economic system is broken, resulting in a lot of raw anger. The Republican Party knows how to harness that anger.

Economically, that is my biggest complaint. did nothing to curb spending, just added debt.

with the economy in shambles, government had to ramp up spending this year.

future generations are going to paying for the cost of this for a long time.
