I think the submission of arbitration numbers makes it more likely the Rangers ($3.6M offer) and Ryan Strome ($5.7M ask) meet somewhere in the middle before it gets to the Thursday hearing. #NYR |

Look, Strome had his first good season since he was in a different league. He knows he and his bust brothers need to make as much money as they can before people catch on. |

Maybe this isn't true of every Mary Brown's location, maybe it is just the one by my house.
But their chicken is so friggin salty it is basically inedible. - Leafs43
That's unfortunate. I think it's easily the best of the fastfood chicken places. |

Rangers tend to overpay UFA's, not busts. |

This article nails it.
You can somewhat understand slathering fatty poop on vegetables because many people don't like the taste of raw veggies. But to add said fatty poop to things like french fries and chicken wings?
It's a recipe to becoming proper fat and is, at least partially and/or collaboratively, responsible for why Americans lead the world in obesity. |

There's something to be said about enjoying feed responsibly, but my sense of guilt doesn't change my sense of taste. Ranch dressing is delicious. |

Poutine is (frank)ing amazing. Ranch dressing is great. But honestly dipping sauce for pizza and such is a degenerate idea. You don't have to put dipping sauce on every-(frank)ing-thing.
Cream sauces on veggies is also (frank)ed imo. Learn to taste and eat some vegetables. People have no palette, that's why they drown everything in fat.
Salt is the big one thoughm. Sodium in our foods is INSANE. People cut out everything else there is but salt is a killer and low-so diets never trend. |

BMI is bullpoop for many. I'm 6'3", 200 and change and according to BMI I'm overweight. In reality my heart rate is 55 bpm and I snap pencil necks. |

Sorry but while raw broccoli is certainly tolerable, it's just better with some spinach dip. Eating bland food isn't an indicator of a refined palate And realistically, I think the main hurdle to overcome as far as obesity is probably getting people to eat raw veg in the first place.
Eliminating sodium and eating well is easy... just making as much food from scratch as possible.
Also quick note on veggie flavour, people who are forced to buy at a grocery store really don't get the same experience as someone who has access to a farmer's market with locally sourced produce. Makes a huge difference. |

Totally agree about scratch cooking and local produce.
I will say I eat mostly sodium and it's crazy how the palette adjusts. No salt fries or chips taste normal now. Salted ones are inedible for me. I can taste the salt in like chard and celery. It's wild. |
