Lol Jane’s Addiction? Stop it - StepfordSam
Same timeframe, the same rise in popularity, They may have been from L.A and not the Pacific NW, but their rise coincided with and preceded many of those bands. Vocals more polished but the bass and guttural guitar of Dave Navarro is grunge.
Who gave early grunge bands a seat at the festival touring table? Perry Farrel and Jane's Addiction. For this reason alone they are part of the 'grunge" movement |

kinda like how the Doors and their LA sound were the anti-heroes to the San Francisco scene in the 60s |

I don’t question the credentials. Just the quality of the music. |

He probably didn’t have time to write anything. He Tweeted that he had to cut his trip short and fly back to Texas so that he can vote. The county office misspelled the town and put the wrong zip code on envelope containing his absentee ballot and he never received it. |

This is true, though this draft had the poorest top two picks in the Hextall era, Hextall and his staff redeemed themselves in the later rounds starting with Carter Hart of course. Also to be fair LaBerge had some very bad luck there. |
