I'm no prognosticator so I'm not going to guess but are confirming a Trump win?

I heard Walmart pulled all their guns off the floors out of fear of 'civil unrest' next week. Fack ....

this is the election you may want to lose on election night. that person will dig up the most ballots after the election.

the media is mind (frank)ing everyone; trying to normalize an illegitimate and unnecessary long drawn out process that's already in the cards.

things will get crazy. but as long as they don't march the military out into a bunch of cities, it will eventually end.

There wouldn't be a need for laws if people always did the right thing, I guess.

The inexplicable nature of his decision is exactly why depression is a disease.

I just destroyed my first tall boy in about 6 minutes - and that's with the realization that I haven't had anything to eat today.

mortality rate is low and keeps declining. wasn't mortality rate the reason we locked down in march?
- Tumbleweed

To the best of my knowledge, I think it had less to do with the mortality rate.. And more to do with the idea that there was a literal (frank)ing pandemic raging and they didn't know what else to do about it. 🤷‍♂️

Yes indeed.

Well that depends on if we both believe that morality is objective and we both believe in the same book.... *inhales*.... or not

all the dems had to do to beat trump was put up a half decent candidate.

somehow, they put a worse candidate than than h.clinton. not just worse, but worse by multiple times.

maybe the hindsight of a loss will finally get people to acknowledge how terrible of a candidate biden is.

i for one am looking forward to january; when they finally find that last truck full of uncounted ballots and we can put an end to this election.

- Tumbleweed

Disagree. It doesn't matter a whit who the Dems chose. Trumps' base will never leave him, and he's doing everything in his power to steal this election. The country is seemingly irrevocably divided. The Dems could have ran Jesus H. Christ as their candidate, and the polling numbers would be identical.

Out of genuine curiosity, what is it about getting absolutely crushed in the polls in 10 of 14 swing states (tied in two more) which has you so convinced this comment will age well?

the average person should not live in any kind of fear of covid whatsoever.

they is a high risk population that is easily identifiable that should be the focus of protective methods.

"Global infection fatality rate is 0.15-0.20% (0.03-0.04% in those <70 years),"

So stop freaking out people and just lock your favourite old persons in a cage in the basement and go on with life as normal.

And now to the comments section to hear from the experts...

Most swing states are a 'statistical' tie.

If you consider pollsters like quinnipiac who were egregiously wrong in 2016 'statistical'.

https://www.realclearpoli...lectoral_college_map.html

Florida: Biden +1.2
Georgia: Biden +0.8
Pennsylvania: Biden +3.6
Ohio: Tie
Michigan: Biden +6.5
Iowa: Biden +1.2
Arizona: Tie
Nevada: Biden +4.0
Texas: Trump +2.3
Wisconsin: Biden +6.4
Minnesota: Biden +4.7
North Carolina: Biden +1.2

Jorge Masvidal's father fled horrible communism in Cuba for a better life in America, great to see him speaking out against Sleepy Joe's communism.

That's why he's the baddest mother(frank)er on the planet!

Although his article seems to be rock solid when one reads it as a layman, there's been lots of serious criticism from his fellow epidemiologists.

In fact there's quite a few different theories and ideas coming from that group of experts...

i thought these guys had some down to earth practical advice like 'protect people in nursing homes' under the Protecting the Old and Other High-Risk Groups heading.

https://gbdeclaration.org...equently-asked-questions/

but you have me convinced. locking old people up in the basement is the only solution! if biden can do it, anyone can!

Like this guy (Melnick)? He used assertions to justify lock downs that have been largely proven incorrect with the passage of time.

Seems like the 2nd guy did better (but far from perfect) with his assessment.

The government overlords have spoken.

No negotiation. We are the law.

This is honestly frustrating. Are there any actual doctors saying that no body checking is going to somehow lead to significantly less transmission on the ice?

I guess it can go down as evidence to where one gets his info and perspective, because basically everything I read right about now says trump is in for an absolute pounding.

https://projects.fivethir...m/2020-election-forecast/

Even media external to the country has as much being the case.

https://www.google.com/am...election-us-2020-53657174

Let me revise my question. Even at bare minimum if we were to look at only the numbers you just posted, what about trump dropping damn near 10% points in pivotal states like Texas and Ohio, along with other critical states he relied on in 2016 like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, etc etc... Has you convinced he has a layup to his next term? Because the drop in popularity across the board seems to be the only thing that's widely accepted... How does that result in confidence on your end?

Polls are being misrepresented to show Biden leading easily so if Trump wins they can claim he cheated. If Biden was easily winning those states he’s be in Texas. But he isn’t.

But wasn't that also the case in 2016?

I don't expect or want Trump to win again, but I wouldn't be confident one way or the other.
