Celery doesn't work. That's not including the fantasy aspect of this offer.
- TheSabresTaco

I think it's like $10.85 leaving the Sabres (if Mitts makes a mil) and $11.75 leaving the yotes. Waiving Hutton would balance for the sabres

Trash take. He gon' make it, son.

The fact that Byfield, Dach, Cozens are available and most likely wouldn’t have been otherwise in a normal year doesn’t help.

Then you have the 19 year old D+1 kids that are a year removed from their draft year that were high picks in their own right like Krebs, Newhook, Poulin, Ryan Suzuki (not to be confused with his brother who plays for the Habs), McMichael, and Mercer (who although got picked after Quinn played on the team last year as a draft eligible).

I highly doubt Lafreniere gets sent back but if the Rangers are off their rockers then that adds another lock to the roster.

That’s 9/12 forward spots without even blinking an eye and I may be missing people

Darron Lee could be a decent addition, if he can stay out of trouble. Better than Klien
- Buff36

He may legitimately be better than Klein. But he's bad at run D.

Mitts isn't on today's active roster.

3. Terry was selling this organization as a playoff team. He was trying to convince a free agent to sign with the 9 straight time playoff less organization? Salesmanship 101?

4. No advanced trade knowledge, probably a seed planted by kagm and Ralph so they spend 8 million more than they wanted on hall. Fluffed internal management selling winning to an old fan.

- Boss34

?
I'm not sure I understand.
#3 - the comment was made to Terry's internal team, not to Hall...the Embeded video did not show Terry talking directly to Hall, the free agent.
#4 - I guess maybe. Seems disingenuous by Ralph and Kevyn if so...I don't get that side from them.

In that case, since it's my fantasy world and not Ralphland, I will replace Miller with Risto. Assuming AZ stashes Mitts in the minors or waives someone else, it would be $11.75 in and $11.4 out for the Sabres.

Keller and Kuemper for Sabres 2021 First, 2021 2nd, Mittlestadt, Johnson, Okposo and Risto

Think he's there because Milano isn't fully recovered and Klein is horrible in coverage.

Not necessarily.

The coach of the Canadian team is the coach of the Ottawa 67’s where Quinn played so possibly politics/familiarity there plays into it.

Also because of his 200 foot play and perceived self awareness he seems like a kid who would accept a bottom 6 role or role as a 12 or 13th forward and be able to play in a defensive role/PK role. Which could definitely be the case if Canada decides to take the best situational fits and not necessarily the top 12 forwards based on skill.

- Pegullaville

Good analysis, sounds like an inside scoop with his coach being in charge.

Maybe he plays a gritty 3B/ 4A defensive specialist role?
I like his athleticism. Dare I say a girgs type role?

Arizona has to dump like 16mill, if a trade is made it will be for picks and a prospect. And Beezer was on here last night saying Montour could be heading to the West Coast.

Ion - I thought terry mentioned playoff team to hall on the speaker phone - my mistake.

5. Just being a fanboy most likely. He's been "building" this team for a decade 😉

It's almost unfathomable that the Coyotes are above the cap considering their talent level.

Also I'm going to throw an absolute fit if my insane fantasy trade doesn't happen

I liked your three way trade idea

Made a lot of sense.

Let’s get GMKA on the phone and make it happen

I don't think this can be over stated. It felt GOOD to hear Ralph say, "We're in WIN NOW mode".

Yes, it's just words, no it means nothing if it doesn't translate to wins on the ice.

But Damn it felt good to hear and see the effort to go get the best FA available.

They're sucking me in again....I hate them

- gcomella34

I seriously 100000% believe homie and 89 when they said Jack Eichel threatened the sabres with wanted a trade. To get them going.

This still gives me hope the sabres make a trade for a goalie.

Well still have a few months before teams have to be compliant. I think you will see more movement when the last Arb. Cases are done.

until you fix the D upgrading (if that even is an upgrade) your goaltending is like putting a band aide on a hole is a damn.. which is why i think we need to get better defense. need to shed our plethora of offensive minded d for some that can play the d zone well..

I look at it from both sides.

You need good defense and good goaltending. Sometimes they go hand in hand but once and a while you need your goalie to come up with a difficult save which is something neither Ullmark and Hutton could do.
