My understanding is the pegulas went to jbotts with similar concerns. Asked him to cut back his scouts ect. Especially overseas guys. He said "no". They said goodbye.

Not %1000skinner sure , but it think it revolved around the internal (employee/scout) cutbacks, not the fake 70 million $ player internal cap , respect the yacht rumor.

My question with that theory is this: if that were the case, why wouldn't the Pegulas just fire the people anyway and then let him quit so they wouldn't have to pay him? It's not like they needed his permission to fire anyone. Botterill's only recourse would be to quit, in which case he wouldn't get paid for the next two years

2 hours left...need a space/man eater on the DL...another LB would be good.
Not alot of Cap space left though.

Speaking of Dahlin, when this season starts, he better be ready to go. No excuses. Hes a #1 overall, show it. Show that you are the next Doughty, Keith, Karlsson, Hedman.

Im not willing to accept "he's young" anymore.

Hes a #1 overall, its on HIM to carry more than his share of the weight from here forward

Be careful speaking the truth around here, I already saw the responses to this. It's part why why erryday I be trollin'

Just a prediction:

Flacco POSTER WHO CLAIMS TO KNOW INSIDERS complains about the rossi/ quinn pick PEGULAS' PLAN TO BE CHEAP, RESPECT THE YACHT, AND TURN OVER THE TEAM TO UNPROVEN KIDS 5 times a day for the next 3 years WEEKS BEFORE FREE AGENCY.

Quinn becomes the better nhl player THE SABRES SIGN TAYLOR HALL.

Flacco THE WANNABE INSIDER says "I've never seen a guy improve that much overnight SUCH AN INCREDIBLE POKER BLUFF"

This protects Flacco THE POSTER WHO IS FULL OF POOP from THIRTEEN 3 years of wrong posts CLAIMING TO BE AN INSIDER, by implying the player PUEGULAS JUST improved BLUFFED. He covers both ends and chalks it up to being right all along and nobody saw this as a last second improvement DEVELOPMENT FROM OWNERSHIP.

Yeah, would help out getting another big DT, Tomlinson's name keeps popping up. Will see, don't have a lot of draft capital either.

Both parties are pro money printing. It obviously started back in 2008 but even the Trump administration prior to COVID wasn’t shy about it either.

At this point they don’t have a choice in the matter the damage has been done.

They can either print money out their ears or watch the economy implode

If Draistal was NA would there have been so many questions? Would Sam have been the best forward? If Sam Reinhart didn't have the family pedigree would he have been rated where he was? My question is based on talent alone was Sam the best?
- GilPerreault11

Yeah, draistal was German and not much was known about him. I remember he was compared to malkin. He had the much higher upset at the draft but Sam was more of the well rounded guy with “high hockey iq “

Max was the 64th pick in 2010
Griffin was the 4th in 2012.

Griffin didn’t even start in the AHL until 2014.

I'm speculating, but the pegulas would have a harder time signing any respectable future gms, if the "game" was to have guys quit before being fired?

I think the pandemic and their study determined a real crisis budget vs. An internal cap structure.

I'm also guessing botts hired the scouts and staff directly not the pegulas. Why would they fire people directly? It's also pretty well known that they have others do the "firing". (Maybe that's well known?)

I'm just passing along what I heard, I find it interesting and think it applies when posters bring up video tron scouting?

*the internal cap was more " employee structured " . I heard they felt a bit taken advantage of by people doing basically nothing.

IE- dozens of overseas scouts not hitting on anyone. Ever.

I'm guessing this, but Rochester had alot if expensive vets, randy Sexton was paid as an assistant gm ect.

They couldn't get out of the 1st round, didnt develop anyone other than oloffson and had communication issues with krueger

In honor of this year's election, the NFL decided that all trades needed to be given to the office via mail-in proposal. We may have a delay in announced and approved trades.
