Therefore it's not apples to apples, and they currently have the room for this type of move. The Chiefs beat the Broncos last week by 24 points and Mahomes threw for 200 yards and went 0/8 on 3rd downs.

That was probably the best defensive performance against Mahomes ever that got ruined because the Broncos spotted the Chiefs 14 points via kick return and INT touchdowns. The Chiefs did most of their damage on the ground against the Broncos.

The Chiefs beat the Bills the week before by running the ball down their throats and Mahomes made the plays when he had too.

Against the Jets he threw for 416 and 5 TD’s like the elite QB that he is and they didn’t have to run the ball because the Jets are terrible and they could throw all day.

This was the first week that Mahomes has had to carry the load for 3 weeks now yet the Chiefs keep chugging along

They're definitely pushing for a WC. Even if it was last year where they weren't, I just don't see that team shedding solid, cheap players. I think they're building a nice team there and they are collecting a lot of solid players.

But, girgs should have been free. He should have volunteered to play in buffalo.

No issue with either Williams or Jackson. They were good players on mostly bad teams that got paid very well. That's all they are to me, no more, no less.

Bruce Smith was freakishly talented, is a Hall of Famer, and hardly in the same "blue collar" mold as the other two. He was great. The other two were just good.

I look back with nostalgia on great players, of which neither team has had too many in the past 20 or so years.
