I take back my comment. If you (frank)ers don't vote for me, you'll have hell to pay for - Bean_Dip
Seriously though I agree. Lets just keep politics out of the board.

If all of this is true could you imagine passing up on Quinn Hughes for this? - jimbro83
They might have taken a gamble on someone for a position of need rather than taking the best player on the board. |

Im not nearly as bothered by it as so many others are, I dont understand why people are so hung up. Were not playing for a cup, we got kids to develop, and worst case we can always pick up someone like Koekker on the cheap as another fill in for the left side.
The only need that should potentially be addressed is C. - aecliptic

2nd line center is the only thing anybody should be thinking about
we don't even need more bottom 6 players |

we just have to get through this shortened season as is on the blueline with the buyout cap hits and the expansion draft concerns
look a what Carolina has done, they traded a first rounder for Skjei, and its possible they wont even be able to protect him
it's senseless to trade for a 4th defenseman we'd have to protect at this stage in the game - jimbro83
I'm firmly in the "see what we got" camp. As much as I want to see them make a run in the playoffs this year, I'm more interested in having a legit squad down the road. Besides, I think they can make some noise this year with the players we have now. |

We better figure out a consistent bottom 6 though. I agree we have the players for it, but lets get some (frank)ing jam and gel. |

What Im wondering though is... if were so worried about 2C, what is our overall assessment of Chytil then? Because if we dont think he can be a 2C, I dont think hes got the grit to be a 3C as I believe in an old fashioned third line trio of grinders/bangers/agitators who can pot some points. |

Meh, you know how it is, Jan.
Trying to fill in all the gaping holes in our never-satisfactory line up with all that super green grass from elsewhere. All while avoiding political references to keep the reality out of our world a little longer and maintaining the high moral standards of the board.

Wow! I must have missed the news when Graves settled before arbitration. $9.5M signing. Good for him!!! NYR sure missed on that one. Not that I am displeased with where we are now... |
