Isn't "dollars to donuts" one of those phrases that triggers Jimmy?

I had to wrestle a kid that had asthma, he had an attack in the middle of our match, talk about heavy breathing. I thought I killed him

We are at the point where we can flip some assets into something were we can improve.

Eventhough were kind of no longer rebuilding in the traditional sense. I was thinking about this defense in 5 years. I dont think ADA is in the long term plans but theyll hold onto him as long as they need to while hes a RFA, if/when he prices himself out.

5 years from now, this is what we might be seeing:
Lindgren, Fox
Miller, Lundkvist
Jones, Schneider

And we still have Robertson, Rykov and Reunanen.

People are mad about us not going after centers but if history says anything, teams gotta develop from the back forward, and I think were there. I think moving forward we will see more offensive moves.

I keep looking at Arizona for something like this, but they want picks and prospects but also desperately want to get rid of money, and we can't take on money

I'd love a blockbuster where we got Hayton, he's probably the most perfect acquisition in the league for us at this point, but also probably the very last guy Arizona would ever trade

Depends how desperate they are? Are they desperate enough to include Hayton in a trade with Stepan with nothing retained?

Just did the math, Hayton carries 1m in bonuses to add to our already ridiculously inflated number. They'd either have to trade or buyout Smith (in the second window) to make it work, or include Buchnevich in the deal although I dont think ARI would want to take back any $.

This one hurts a lot...

The one and only James Bond has passed away.

RIP Sean Connery.

You're a acting like him being in a different team negates all he did here. Be will always be a ranger but needs his cup. He'll pull a Borque, hopefully win and retire this year, join the NYR front office and have his name on the cup a second time in 2-3 years here

Thats not what I was implying at all, I did end up buying the jersey for exactly that reason. More of a surprise that an authentic jersey is only costing me $150, especially of a timeless Ranger.

I was actually looking to see how much a LAF jersey is.

If you can tell the difference between mine and any $300 one, please let me know. But you go ahead and pay that pricetag.

Hell while you're at it, buy one of those sweatshirts on NHL shop that costs $110!!

If you put the real one next to the knockoff, Im sure you can (usually its something with the stitching, numbers or letters). At a distance obviously its negligible.

However, I cant support the Chinese economy.
