When I said "go away", I meant be dissolved. They were a poop show in Winnipeg and with the exception of 1 year under Tippett, they have been a poop show in AZ. Some things just can't be fixed. - Levit8

I’m way more optimistic about Patrick. Morin can never seem to stay on the ice, period. - hereticpride
I honestly think one of the biggest hurdles for Morin moving forward is getting a team to give him an opportunity at the NHL level. He's missed so much hockey, he'd really have to excel to get an opportunity. He's still young enough but you know how players get written off. It might have to happen on another team.

Some of the features are improved. And I have done the same the last few years. Got last years in the spring sale for 10 or so. Better than last years. A i is smarter, skating features and a few new dekes. Besides it’s very similar. But will play the bejesus out of it now that I bought it. If you have xbox ea pass is coming with the game pass. So I would wait until the rosters are set and it’s half price at the new years sale.
Also got it for ps4 last year. Like it better on Xbox. - Peter Richards
Thanks. Have PS4. I also kind of don't want to buy any new games until I get the new system in a month or two. I'll most likely cave and get it haha. |

If you are here regularly, and and have not yet become adept (as say me) in quickly skimming pasts posts with Darth Vader warnings associated with them, then you are doomed to a hangover anyway.

Remember it this way: Bill Meltzer (BLT) is tops tops tops (ttt).
So, after reading his blog, go to the TOP of his blog to enter the comments section (right next to where the date is in orange. Don't enter it from the bottom).
Say it when you are in the shower:

Come on. That's not fair. He addressed the motivation to lie pretty exhaustively in his long post today.

So I fell for it this year and got nhl21.
Anyone else? And did you start the be a pro. Love how it’s on the rookie every game every shift. Not through my first season and the coach already lost his message.
Was asked to change the momentum. Had three hits a takeaway, drew a penalty and fought after an injury on one hit. Coach was disappointed. - Peter Richards
It's always been nothing more than a $65 roster update since 15. I gave up after 20. Unfortunate no one else gets in on the hockey video game market. |

Well my first thought is liability. If they knowingly or negligently allowed nopa to play with or with possible concussion and he became injured as a result they’d have a big problem on their hands wouldn’t they? The longer nopa out the more worried they’d be and more likely to continue the lie no? - SMS
lol
Why would Patrick stay silent about this? If there was no migraine history then the concussions that he allegedly already suffered have done damage.
I just can't buy into this conspiracy theory. |

I will give his thesis, best as I understand it, my spin:
1. No history of head ailments of any sort before this one.
2. When current issues occur, puzzlement, no clear answers from imaging.
3. Learn that NP has family history of migraines, maybe had ones himself not significant enough to report.
4. Surmise that 3 is the culprit.
5. Treat migraines, but usual recovery timeline exceeded.
6. Suspicion starts to mount that he is suffering from PCS with or without migraines.
7. By now locked in to migraine story. Revealing they were wrong might mean faulty diagnostics back last year, fault of Flyers medical staff.
So, Patrick would stay silent because genuine due diligence was done at the time of initial onset of symptoms, but no smoking gun was found and now he has no interest in rocking the boat either.
You may or may not believe this, but I don't see logical holes in this story. |

So Patrick had Migraines as a little kid ? So ? They went away....they came back? Or could it be concussion related ? With the head it’s hard to know. It’s very frustrating for the fans because this kid has the potential to be a 1rst line Center In this league....but just imagine how tough it must be for him ?
Personally I’m not expecting much at this point....but I hope I’m dead wrong and they can get his issues put behind him and become the player he was on his way to becoming.

So are we pretending that the concussion protocol is fool proof now and that there still aren't players that lie about/downplay symptoms to get back to playing? I'm not saying Patrick did this, but I assume this still happens.
I don't see how the team would be at fault if that happened, or why they would lie about it for months. |

Nopa has never said he’s got migraine history. Strange? The good doctor never said it... strange? The team did. And nopa hasn’t really even been in philly for how long? |

And even if for some reason he did suffer from the disorder since childhood it wouldn’t put him out of lineup for 18 months everyday every game. Funny I had migraine today. Took meds and layed down and 5 hours later all better. Migraines by themselves without trauma don’t put you out of action for that long a period of time. Common sense. If you couldn’t work for 18months due to just migraines it would be covered under ssdi. Which it isn’t. Because it doesn’t happen. Name 1 person ever to miss 18 months of any type work just from migraines and no other factors. There isn’t any |

So Patrick will stay silent to be complicit in the cover up to help the team save face. You've made a lot of asinine statements in your day but stating that you don't see any logical holes in the story is one of the ages. It's absolutely hysterical. Especially for someone who frequently starts out a post with "lets look at this logically! |

And I also said I don’t think flyers lied to be malicious. I think they expected him back sooner and just didn’t want to disclose concussion. Then it took a life of its own and they were stuck with defending their statements |
