I really doubt the effectiveness of it. Not the app, but the people using it.

They say at least 1/3 of the people who get tested don't answer the phone when they call them to tell them the result.

So imagine how many people will actually call to get their "pin" number when they get a positive test, and actually put it in the app

Also add to that the people who have the app but never turned on Bluetooth...

I wouldn't mind the app, but your bluetooth and GPS must be activated at all times, which really drains the battery. but I guess it's a small price to pay to be anonymously tracked (or so they say... lol)

but a smartphone? just got my first one a few months ago, a used one a friend gave me. I rarely use it.
