using common sense I have a hard time understanding why malls are still open then... I don't see it being "safer" there, and I don't see the logic, sorry.

that being said I won't be "protesting" at the gym either, (frank) that lol

- Pat1993

gyms are good for health. un esprit sain dans un corps sain. if they keep them closed, they must have a pretty darn good reason imo.
as for malls, I agree with you 100%.

and that's the thing, if there is a rational explanation behind that decision then I would be glad to hear it... yesterday at Legault's press conference would've been a great opportunity to shed more light on that

they didn't? I'll be honest, I missed most of their press conference the past few months,
surprising they were not asked the question.

they were asked the question, but Legault only mentionned that the law would be applied, and fines would be given, without providing further information

well that goes without saying, can't have people deciding to do wtf they want these days. but yes, they should explain why they keep them closed. that would help. looks pretty obvious to me tbh.

I never go to the gym. always hated it.
do you think if they limit to 15 minutes the time you can spend in the gym it would be well accepted by users? obviously they would also have to limit the number of customers.
then I could see them reopening soon.

15 minutes would be insufficient, I think 45 minutes would make more sense, depending on how busy a certain gym is and how many people want to work out on the same day. when they first re-opened I thought a training schedule would be implemented, but it wasn't..

that's what I thought. 15 minutes is not worth going. that's why they're closed.

maybe so... but if this correlation between time and risk exists, they should just (frank)ing say so. and ask people that they don't spend more than 15 minutes in a store lol

I'd rather work out at home and use coolers as a bench, as I'm currently doing

The Habs' Facebook page just made a post, encouraging people to download the government's Covid app.

The comments section...holy hell. It's a cesspool of drooling morons.

Of course there is a Kaven in there that's telling them "he's no longer a fan"

I wouldn't mind the app, but your bluetooth and GPS must be activated at all times, which really drains the battery. but I guess it's a small price to pay to be anonymously tracked (or so they say... lol)
