I’m OK with having extra guys that we might send down,” said Benning. “In a flat-cap world, I don’t think there’s any risk of anybody getting picked up (waivers) and if they do, good for them. Those are things that are on the table.”

You'd have to start with a couple of 2nds, but you never know. That would be going all in!

You need that edge pressure, our secondary is good enough that provided you can make the QB feel the heat that we'll start getting better field position for Russ to cook. Our run defense is good but not great, but our pass rush... eesh, that game should have never have gotten to OT.

Getting Watt would be huge and a big balls move. What's Seattle's cap though, can they even add him?

Our run D is getting much better (running QBs aside, but Adams will help with that), and getting Snacks in there will help even more. Getting some sort of QB pressure will just set the whole D – the secondary is okay, they just get exploited as most secondaries do when they have to defend for 6+ seconds. Getting two extra stops a game gives Russ two extra possessions, which would likely make a massive difference in the final score.

Thank God... he's just rotting in the KHL.

Kid's going to be an important piece for us and I would hate to see his potential hurt by him getting jerked around and not getting playing time.

At least he should get a shot at PP, PK, etc etc now in the MHL. Plus with the world Jrs he should be leaned on a lot as a returning player.

Well... Now he's in the same league as the Canucks 6th rounder this draft who's lighting it up in the VHL.

Big poop storm on twitter today regarding the Coyotes draft pick who brutally bullied another kid in high school and was charged for it.

So weird this is becoming a thing now considering that information was all available before they drafted him, what a terrible look.

Wow, just read an article on his bullying tactics. The kid is a racist and a bully.
Getting a kid to lick a lollipop, after rubbing it in a urinal, what a POS.

Definitely a terrible look for the franchise.

Kids suck. Racist idiot kids who bully handicapped people suck even more.

He was a 4th round pick, like I can't understand any team wanting to take a chance on him given his past. I know he was 14 but that poop is a sign of deep seated psychological issues that don't just disappear in 4 years.

Not taking sides here, but for context this happened when he was 14 so it’s been several years. Perhaps he learned a valuable lesson and has become a better person? Don’t know him, never will, don’t really care, but everyone on here has done something they regret I’ll bet so...

The gravity of what was done plays a huge role. I can say with absolute certainty neither I nor anyone I was friends with at that age would have ever done anything that horrible, and I think most people would say the same.

Racism and/or bigotry isn't generally something you grow out of, it takes a bit more than that for people to learn better.

I agree, it’s brutal. There’s no excuse for being so stupid and insensitive. Just that cancel culture will run with this story and maybe he isn’t a deeply disturbed about to be psychopath monster. Maybe he’s just a kid who made a really terrible mistake, regrets it and is trying to move on. Again, I don’t know, and don’t really care, so I’ll leave it there.
