I worked at the Goodyear in Ardmore and personally worked on his Cadillac (the Z12 Bentley he called it) for a number of years. That car had close to 200K on it and he refused to let it go. Larry was one of the most interesting and colorful people I've ever met, and was always willing to talk hockey. He gave me a VHS tape of him on the old Don Cherry show, which had to have been from the 80's (which I still have) and a bunch of signed random stuff. I miss him, and how I heard he lived out his last few years really broke my heart. Thanks Bill for the trip down memory lane!

The NHL among others I hope realize that viruses just don’t go away. If the plan is to wait until a vaccine is out they might as well fold.
Absolutely be smart and take precautions.
I’m seeing my part of the world dealing with covid and adapting.
I understand there is only so much you can do when governors are restricting their states heavily.
Imo this is where business needs to start exerting pressure to work to get a closer course of normalcy done.
If we are to believe the numbers 8m plus confirmed cases and 200k it seems we are being overly reactive. If 8m are confirmed cases how many people had been exposed to covid and never got tested.

Out of left field with this when all the numbers suggest we’re heading into another big surge? The league has the responsibility to protect its players, employees, and fans and that should come first before rushing back to normalcy for the sake of normalcy.
