This is incredible growth 7 games in from Allen.

4th overall among QB's in value to his team.

He's legitimately a top 10 QB this season

- sbroads24

Let’s see how the rest of the year plays out
He hasn’t played well against “good” teams yet really
Maybe the Rams are “good” but u know what i mean

Seems very unlikely they would trade a number 3 overall stud for a 2nd, He's only 22.
- Carubba-Kaleta

I agree
Was shocked to hear that from him
Idk what’s going on down there?

Almost seems like they’re overdoing a “tank for Trevor” scenario to assure they get that #1 pick

I definitely wouldn't be locking him up lock term.
- Mentalorgasm5

That's fine. I don't think all that highly of him either. It's their final year of team control, usually you'd make a decision. Buy out at least 1 UFA year or trade him and move on. We're punting, on just about everyone. It's killing us in terms of asset management.

"Everyone thinks he's so cool that he gets to go to the NHL, but I don't see how someone can be cool when you pick on someone and bully someone your entire life."

That quote is heartbreaking. I think people deserve second chances (especially kids) but that is some sick, twisted poop. Im glad he's not with the Sabres.

Speaking of hero's (practice)

Krueger also likes Casey Nelson - Congratulations on the signing.

We don't need that poop here. It's hard to clean that stuff out of your blood. I can see why the Coyotes jumped in though. I can see the motivation. Just seems like attention a team doesn't need.

There's no way any team in a market where hockey is at or near the top of the daily sports headlines were going to take him, not in today's political climate. It would bring up way too much negative attention. If I were in charge of a team, I probably wouldn't take on the potential headache it could be come later either.

That being said, I can give the benefit of the doubt, both that the kid learned from his mistake, and that the Coyotes did their homework on him.

It seems clear that the Sabres are banking on an as bad or even worse financial climate next offseason for the NHL, and that's why they and the players are going more for one year deals, to see just how bad it will be next offseason.

There are many rumblings within the league that next offseason could be even worse financially then this current one.

Good point, kong. Wonder how having Buffalo as a potential NHL hub city will effect PSE

He plays for the jets who have been terrible. Williams is a stud.

It will be fantastic for the localized economy. Outside of that, the league will simply split the revenues to all the teams within the bubble. I can't imagine PSE would gain some kind of upper hand here.

Yeah he's really good. Pretend he's one of those good players on a poopty hockey team and all of the sudden he goes to, say, the Knights and he's suddenly "good" again.

Ed Oliver could certainly turn out great also, he's played like 20 games, ease up a bit.

Wait til the players see the mini bar prices at Harborcenter. $18 for bottled water. Italian marble in the yacht bathrooms is back in!

Yeah, the two QBs Beane and Mcdermott took had social media with the N bombs on it, right?

Not sure why I have to ease up a bit... I think Ed is fine, he's just needs some more time... and to recover from his leg whip. I just don't think Williams is a stud... pretty much on. par with Oliver.

The predictions that players would take shorter deals of 1 - 2 years of deflated AAV has come true.

Given the likelihood of abysmal attendance figures for the upcoming season, many teams are going to be hurting financially and may want to manage costs down for the 21-22 season again while attendance and revenues hopefully ramp back up.

If the 21-22 season can't get back to near normal attendance and therefore revenues, we likely see some major changes...cancelled or reduced seasons, teams collapsing, etc.
How could, for example, the Sabres absorb 2 seasons with very low revenues resulting in huge losses. I know the Pegula's are very wealthy, but I just have a hard time believing them and many others "pushing through".

Did Arizona know about this before picking him? Or did anyone know before the draft?

Unless it was public info or if word got around things like that may not pop up if coaches said he played great and was a leader but didn't want to tell the otherside because it could harm the kids chance of playing and hurt his teams chances of recruiting if that comes out

If it was juvy they may not have the info because they could say it's confidential and won't release juvy court details

Now that the coyotes know let's see if they do anything

Shouldn't have happened and he deserves punishment
