Look for a similar handle, about a year old.

Third liner at best....another Delorme bust
- Pacificgem

Best third liner by the end of the season. Moving up to second line for the playoffs

What Pronman wrote about him:

Tier: High-end NHL player

Skating: 50
Puck Skills: 60
Physical Game: 55
Hockey Sense: 65

Podkolzin is a handful to deal with as he’s skilled and works very hard. When he’s barreling down the wing, he has one objective: getting to the net. He’s not a narrow-minded player with the puck, as he makes a ton of great plays and shows tremendous creativity with the puck. Podkolzin is a weird skater, with a hunch in his stride, but his stride looked powerful enough to give it a 50 grade, although I debated a 45. Similarly to last season, he is getting limited opportunity with SKA this season.

I'm just going off what I posted earlier about the top under-23. I don't think the guy is a good list maker, but he clearly watches a lot of hockey – take it with your bath salts and all will be dreamy

Remember when most people were thinking 3-3.5? Looks like everyone was wrong on this one.

He's not coming over until the end of the year, lots of time to trade Rouss or Sutter

Pretty sure someone mentioned the 2.5-2.55 million range, just the other day, that same fella also used the Nichuskin contract as a comparable.

That would be nice if it was a possibility, find us a dance partner.

BTW is Nighthawk working out of town again? Roster postings are pretty scarce.

Good contract. Capfriendly shows them right now at the cap limit...with Hawyluk on the non-roster player list.

I thought they needed another $1.5M of cap, which he can do with LE and SB assignments, or LTIR for Ferland.

Most said 2.5-3 but were concerned that it would be higher if it went to arbitration.

I see them listed as 1.5M over. Like you said they can get there by burying a couple contracts but the roster will be 21 players instead of 23. They also said they are going to have the full 1.7M of bonus money count this year so they'll need to likely drop down to 19 or 20 players unless/until Ferland is on LTIR.
