Lucky you, we downsized houses to have a smaller mortgage and pay it off faster so we don't have any room for a home gym. My old house could have put one in the garage or basement

the adjustable ones? I don't recommend them, they suck. And they only go up to 60 pounds

don't be sad, just means it's easier for you to have a home gym, less weights to buy.

Or...just think of the newbee gains. I miss being able to grow overnight and add 10 lbs a lift every workout. Rock those newbee gains to death

depends on what exercise you're doing, for squats it isn't that much, but yeah if you want to do only bicep curls then 60 pounds might be a tad exaggerated loll...

I've been doing "homemade" body pump classes with the girlfriend these past few months.

We really need some bigger weights for some training for it to be effective at this point.

Oh we have some small weights (around 10 pounds dumbells) and some exercice can work just fine with those. Especially with plenty of repetitions.

But we definetely need more.

Change up your rep scheme for a few weeks to topple your plateau or figure what your weakness is (lift off from the bottom, lock out, etc) and use accessory lifts to push through. We talking squats? Bench? Deads? Overhead?
