Modern print media barely even proof reads what they put out. EK and Garth get mocked for not proof reading but it's (frank)ing hockeybuzz. I had a report we paid good money for where we found you replaced with u and are replaced with r, multiple times. A few years ago the dictionary changed the definition of literal to include when somebody incorrectly says literal or literally but meant figurative or figuratively but were too ignorant to know the difference. They changed the meaning of the word to fit the stupidity of people

he's really nice. never had a cat before, and I always considered myself to be more of a dog person, but thank god I have him or I would've went crazy during confinement... well, I still went a little cray-cray, but it's still manageable for now lol


my dumb neighbour downstairs texted me last weekend, she wanted to know if I had some cat food to spare for a stray cat... not that it isn't a nice gesture, but I wouldn't want a bunch of stray cats around my apartment just waiting to be fed

yeah that's going a bit too far imo... they did this for some instances in French as well, but the language still has all of its exceptions and complexities, so I'm not too concerned for now. I'm not on FB though, so perhaps if I was I'd start to worry a lot more loll
