to me, extending Allen before he has played a single game is a bad move. they could have waited till spring, see how he performs in a city like Mtl, see how Primeau progresses... now he has 2.8M less on the cap to sign forwards.

obviously giving 3.5M to Edmunsdon is a also a bad move imo. the way Kulak played in the playoffs, with plenty of kids knocking at the door... again, leaving him with less cap to sign forwards.

5.5M to Anderson? a bit high imo. especially for a 7 year deal. he didn't sign for 3 years, he signed for 7!

While I agree with some of this (not all), I will just say it is about time MB actually (frank)ing does something, rather than another off season of paralysis and not taking any risks.
