If I were the Jets I'd be running with this as my Top 6:

Laine*-Scheifele-Wheeler
Connor-Stastny-Ehlers*

* These guys should be playing on their off-hand wing.

Wheeler should be feeding a goal-scoring phenom like Laine all-day. Connor can score, but I don't put him quite in the same class as Laine in terms of elite-shooting.

I'd switch it up a bit. I'd put Shifielileie with Connor and Ehlers. I figure that gives them their absolute best line. Just run with that.

Taking some steam out after a bad day at the office?

You always gotta make sure that zoom meeting is closed before you start stroking it!

'clever' attempt to get the political bs started...
- 21peter

How is that political? Everyone loves a tax payer funded virtue signal. And Dougie prefers museums to his teammates. It’s a reasonable statement

Imagine both happening at the same time...
- Steven_Seagull

That would be ideal. How do we get that?

If Liljegren is being traded, I hope they get someone much better than those guys.
- GreatGigInTheSky

They probably could but cap restrictions may not let them. Personally, I'd rather keep Liljegren. Weegar and Savard are two guys I would target

you should emancipate yourself from all taxes and live in the woods in NWT where the gov can never find you. You'd be better off.

That stuff is nice and spicy. Hard to find it anywhere else other than the odd roti shop.

Metro stocks it. It's quite nice, and tbh my main use for it these days is slow cooking ribs as opposed to making cocktails.

Me too. I want no part of trading him.

Was just going with what was being said.

Same. Liljegren and Kerfoot is a huge overpay for Weegar or Savard. Those are the guys I'd go after..

It's so early. I'm not sure I've seen ANYTHING I like in Liljegren yet, but I haven't seen anything I don't like yet either. He hasn't impressed, and he's made a couple of gaffes that you'd expect from a kid . . . if someone is willing to pay for his ceiling (and I think his ceiling is top-4, not top-2) with term and cost control, then you probably make the trade.

For someone with term and with cost control, I agree.. Also, should be someone closer to 25 then to 30 years of age.

Apparently Weegar isn't happy with the Panthers and their offers. Seems like he'll still get traded.

To the Leafs I hope. I saw on Twitter, David Pagnotta was saying that about Weegar as well..
