I'm probably the only one but I think Drouin with more talent around him to help feed the equation, and some bigger (protection) linemates can turn into a .90 ppg player or better. Trading him would be a ridiculous use of assets at this point.

You’re not alone, I agree. Drouin was doing really well pre injury last season and he seemed to click with Suzuki, saddle them with Anderson to retrieve the puck in the tough areas and create space and let’s see what happens. Besides, I do not think Bergevin is ready to give up on him yet.

They are aiming for a January 1st start, with camps opening up in December.

...but nothing is for sure and it could be pushed to February.

Sister in law caught COVID, she was the only nurse left on her department. Think they had to transfer all patients elsewhere. She had to call an ambulance this weekend, 104 fever and throwing up a lot. Says everything she eats tastes like playdough.

Saturday was the perfect example of why I miss hockey. Would have been the perfect day. Beautiful outside, and then hockey to watch in the evening.

Yeah...it seems to be rough for some people. My friend's sister in law is a nurse too and it's been 6 weeks since she has "recovered" from covid. She says she has about one or two good days a week, the other days it's fatigue, vertigo...

Really seems to be different for each one. That poop is really contagious. I mean, nurses and doctors have protocols and everything and they still catch it. It's not like wearing a little cotton mask that you never wash...

Sorry to hear it really is a crappy virus and yes different people react differently. My mum only had a big cough for a few days while my dad ended up in hospital under oxygen and lost 20 lbs...and he’s never sick. Can’t wait till this is all behind us

They are more exposed.

Also, I think the mask works for protecting others mostly.

It's a combination of everything. If you wear a mask, but never wash your hands, and constantly touch your face, you expose yourself to risk. The mask is not 100% protection, but it helps a lot.

This is a point that sometimes those masks made by some girl on facebook with cute design who used to be a dance teacher might not be the best. Constantly falling off the nose and you have to touch your face constantly to put it back on correctly.
