i am a very anxious person so none of this is good for me but i find that when i am getting upset or when i am like "(frank) i hate this mask" if i just take a few deep breaths and tell myself that i just have to do this right now it helps.

if that doesn't work i think about this house painter guy out front of the wawa (sorry) near work who was standing on the sidewalk yelling to people that the virus is a hoax and that as soon as the election is over you won't have to wear masks anymore. then i tell myself that i wouldn't want anybody to mistake me for someone that dumb. then i can think of the mask as something letting everybody around me know that i'm not a complete lunatic asswipe.

As I posted the other day, there lies the whole dilemma.

Do you overpay (aka go over 6M) for Gallagher, lose him as a UFA or trade him.

I simply cannot conceive the latter happening unless the Habs are out of the playoffs picture at the trade deadline.

So it's either overpay or lose him.

Can they afford to lose him?

to me, the only reason to let a UFA walk for free is if you have a legit chance at the cup. which is not the case, with or without Gallagher. not with 2 20 y/o centering the top 2 lines. maybe in a few years.
so, if Gallagher is not signed by the tdl, you trade him.

i agree 100% about the weird inconsistency.

they just said people can go to the eagles games from here on out. only so many, but still. it just seems weird to me that they're doing that. and a lot of teams are. it seems like something you do after you've turned some kind of corner and see a light at the end of the tunnel. i don't feel like we're anywhere near that light.
