Well I watched him play quite a bit here in bingo so I'm pretty sure he knows that's where he's going (the ahl) if sorokin has issues or isn't handling the smaller ice well and has to go to the ahl then you have a proven vet ready to step in but Cory is a sound tiger.

In a Covid and Cap world not a huge shock Toews gets moved. Would have been nice to keep him but I can understand it when you have Pelech, Pulock and Dobson for the future.

I get the reasoning. If it's gotta be done it's gotta be done. But it sucks making moves for money reasons rather than to improve the team on the ice. If this lets them, say, move Boychuk so they can get Barzal and Pulock signed, that's a good thing at the end of the day. On the ice, though, they're thinner on D with nothing added up front. But, them's the breaks.

Dobson is 100% ready to step in so while its a loss the reality is a better player is stepping into his role

I can understand this UIF. Would have been nice to move Toews for a forward. Toews was a nice player a little inconsistent. Philly towards the end of the series and Tampa exposed the Isles D a little by crashing the net for deflections. This does open the door for Dobson though. New Blog.
