I’m noticing these contracts are like a million or more lower in the first year than the next year.

Owners/GMs are being smart that way in actual cash considering they won’t know what the attendance policies in each state will look like in 3-4 months.

This is one of the reasons why I've never done fantasy sports. Real actual sports (especially Buffalo sports) are aggravating enough. I don't need the added stress.

I really haven’t had much stress doing them and I do 4 football leagues and one hockey league.

Hockey is a little more involved with rosters because of when teams play. Football is easy until this year anyway.

I did baseball one year and never again lol

Higher-end players won't get squeezed...like him or not, Sam is a relatively high-end player.
You have seen me post numerous times about moving Sam...not because he sucks, but because he is a considerable trade chip...so I don't believe he is untouchable.

Sam signed a short-term, prove it deal 2 years ago..and he proved to be a 1RW.
Arbitrators are forbidden to consider the economic conditions of the club or league, and I believe they also ignore current year UFA signings (can't remember where I read that as it was 14 months ago)...so your Covid Pricing logic goes out the window.

Do you think Sam, after being screwed out of say $3-$4m in the past prove it contract is actually going to be Club-friendly? If so, why did he file for arbitration?...as he could have just continued on with club-friendly negotiations.
