TJ Brodie to Toronto
- sbroads24

That’s not good.

Florida did well this week by adding Lundell, Wennberg, Hinostroza, and Gudas.

I'm just asking when was the last trade called or FA? There is always a lot of self praise but when are they?
- GilPerreault11

In case you missed it

With all do respect, myself and Homie mentioned Toffoli and other players but I'm sure you know, as the day goes on and players are signed directions change due to money and years. They may have a player or players they like but he my go elsewhere or sign for more and that may change there plans on offering another player money when a player of there same caliber and position went for more.

plans and directions change, it doesn't mean what we hear is all bulls$$t.

He said Toffoli long before Chad D said we were interested.
- Pegullaville

Well, there are a limited number of FA and decent scorers anyone could say the Sabres would be interested in him. We'll see if he signs. That might be the first one since 89 had something on Evander Kane. I wouldn't have a problem if they didn't have to jerk themselves off for, what?

He doesn’t call things because it’s not like he’s making the decisions. He passes along what he hears. Why sh!t on him for that?
- Stripes77

Not allowed to do that on here

Thought 89 mentioned something about Quinn too but perhaps I’m wrong.

no, another poster he heard Mitts to the Jackets and asked me if that was deal. I didn't hear Mitts
- SABRES 89

Actually that was me, but really sounding like Mitts is not really valued.

I mentioned Quinn 4 months ago which was a guess, see? Sabres need wings. I think 89 has a source but nothing has really come to fruition, the other guy? Not so much.

Holy S, that's a lot of spare parts and a "maybe" on that list. It's the first day of free agency.

Wings- Staal, Ryan, Merril

Heres how I see the division this coming season:

Tampa-still the best but depth hurt by cap crunch
Boston- aging, but still a solid top 3 team
Toronto-Top heavy team but good enough to make it
Montreal- Right there with TO, lacking star power up front
Florida- have not gotten any better. rebuilding teams behind them will surpass them soon
Ottawa- Rebuilding- Lottery Team
BUF- Trying to compete - Lottery Team
DET- Rebuilding, worst team in hockey, should start to show improvement in a season or two.

Is Kahun a “difference maker” in your opinion?
Nice player i guess,
but you’re really overdoing his loss

- jdfitz77

I'm confused kid.

I thought they were supposed to keep good players and especially on the 3rd and 4th lines.
Now, the narrative is every one is wrong, it's perfectly fine to let him walk for virtually nothing.

It was right to save $500k on a 3rd liner, but ok to o er pY by $500k on 4th liners.

You used the words "Bulldog" and "smart" in the same sentence.

I mean the Panthers May lose Hoffman and Dadonov which will hurt but those “spare parts” all have very good defensive metrics and that team couldn’t defend to save their lives last year.

They should be able to defend better in front of Bob at the very least

Sabres saying they use analytics is like the Pillsbury Dough Boy saying he’s on keto

- homiedclown

So...did some research on Irwin cuz I don’t know him. He may be the worst dman in the league, analytically and “normally “ I know he only signed for league minimum but seems like a wast of time and space to me. Don’t really get it?

Switch BUF and DET. Scratch everything after the word hockey.
