Or, hear me out, make serious roster adjustments. If they would sign anyone that would move the needle, you'll hear an attaboy from me. In fact, go back 8 pages for the VO deal, and I said good deal. If you want me to get on my knees for a Tobias Reider signing who has 21 points over the last two years (122 games) and doesn't exactly have positive possession metrics (his team bleeds shots when he's on the ice), it's just not going to happen.

Good for him. When he was 22/23 he did show promise.. That was 4/5 years ago and he has slid hard. It's a whatever signing for our 14th forward, I don't actually care they signed him. But you shouldn't be attempting to sign anyone of his caliber in the opening 3.5 hours of FA because there is an infinite amount of those guys out there.

Rumor is Kahun wanted $2.5 per, we offered $2 per, for 2 years. So yea. Trying to wait to see how things turn out, but this all looks bad on Buffalo. Only trade in the last month is to move up 4 spots in the second round of the draft. Weak sauce for sure.

I don't get the sword swallowing today. Sure, I would have risked Kahun beating them in arbitration (although it sounds like he would have taken 2.5 per year). I also didn't like the Gus contract. But today isn't the day to female dog about lack of activity. Today can be summarized by some people getting crazy contracts and then a bunch of other role players. There is a lot to be played out.
